THE REASON IS YOU [storage 3.0]

If Sheo gets outcast from Flintlock into the wilderness to ultimately die from his injuries, this will be the the song I play for his final thread. I'll cry for sure lmao.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yag41F7eCLU

Your hands upon
A deadman's gun, and you're
Lookin' down the sights
Your heart is warm
And the seams are torn, and they've
Given you a reason to fight
And you're not gonna take
What they've got to give
And you're not gonna let 'em take your will to live
Because they've taken enough
And you've given them all you can give
And luck won't save them tonight
They've given you a reason to fight
And all the storms you've been chasin'
About to rain down tonight
And all that pain you've been facin'
About to come into the light

ALSO THIS ONE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGVQJKgqgY8

Don't lose your way
With each passing day
You've come so far
Don't throw it away
Live believing
Dreams are for weaving
Wonders are waiting to start
Live your story
Faith, hope and glory
Hold to the truth in your heart

If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
Where clouds roll by
For you and I

Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
There's always some reason
To feel not good enough
And it's hard, at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh, beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
And maybe empty
Oh, and weightless, and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

Post Traumatic Retrograde Amnesia: The subject suffers from a serious brain injury, resulting in trauma which may result in amnesia which can be temporary or permanent. PTA can wipe past memories, and is most likely to wipe the memory of how the injury itself was caused. The patient may forget their own name and parts of their past, but still retain information such as knowing how to walk. They may recognize friends and family, but struggle to recall their names or memories of them. PTA may cause future problems, such as short term memory loss, and general forgetfulness that impacts daily life. Memory loss may be temporary depending on the severity of the injury, allowing the subject to recover lost memories of their past.

[b]SECOND CHANCE home for the outcast
Welcome to Second Chance, an institute for the outcasts, the desperate, and those that require help to survive in the cruel world that has arisen since the fall of the old modern world. In this peaceful, neutral group, second chances are a part of daily life, from the freedom to move on from a life of cruelty and violence, to the solace of finding a home that welcomes people regardless of disability or mental health.

[b]Second Chance lives in a mansion deep within a forested landscape surrounded by protective rocky hills. The mansion itself may be described as a bit of a modern castle, vast in size, with various spacious bedrooms, a pleasant courtyard with stone tables and cobbled paths, lined with gardened flowers, a church for worship provided for those that need it, a cafeteria where food is served and meetings are held, an exercise room with exercise equipment, therapy rooms, and a lobby that has been turned into a grand living room with the warmth of a fire to heat the structure in the cold of bitter winter.

Exterior Mansion Reference

A dirt road leads through the rocky hills to the mansion itself, providing easy access for joiners and merchants and visitors alike. Stables are available on the grounds, along with shelters for other exterior kept pets. The landscape itself is mostly thick forest, laced with streams and a pleasant lake that provides a constant water source, and perfect for hunting as a source of food. Outside of the forest is rolling fields that provide rich farmland, where various fruits and vegetables are nurtured into life. Livestock and other animals are also bred in the farmland. Dogs that are trained as therapy animals and bunnies that are bred as emotional support animals are maintained here as well, and provided to residents in need of them.

The weather of the group is warm in summers and mild in winter months. Rarely will it snow, but it isn't entirely unheard of.

The Rules include:

• No murder, thievery, or other crime against your fellow members shall be committed without risk of punishment.

• Betrayal of any kind that endangers the group as a whole will result in exile.

• Raids on the group will blacklist the attacking group from participating in events with Second Chance.

• Second chances are to be granted to everyone, including those seeking to free themselves from their violent and criminal pasts, the mentally ill, the abused, the recovering addicts, the developmentally and physically disabled, and anyone else in need of a home.

• While second chances are provided, those that actively begin to endanger the group may not be permitted to stay.

• No drugs or alcohol is permitted and will be confiscated upon discovery.

• Abuse of residents by aids or any other rank, including other residents, is strictly forbidden and is punishable by exile.

• Any type of bullying is against the rules and will be punished.

• Visiting other groups is permitted, but starting trouble with them will result in punishment.

• All aids may hold therapy sessions of any type, mental, developmental, or physical. Residents may host support groups for their fellow members.

• Residents are not restricted from advancing through the ranks and may even choose to become Aids.

• Hunting for sport is strictly forbidden.

• Encouraging bad behavior or addiction of any kind is never permitted.

• Those that are violent due to mental illness and cannot be considered responsible for their behavior must be isolated from the rest of the group in a private section if the mansion where comfortable rooms are provided, along with constant supervision and care. When an individual proves capable of controlling themselves, they may be permitted to join the rest of the group.

• Weapons are not permitted to be accessible to residents, however aids and other ranks may carry them for protection.

• Wheelchairs and canes are to be provided without hesitation to the needy.

• Therapy and emotional support animals will not be provided to individuals incapable of caring for them. Abused or neglected pets will be provided a better home immediately.

• All members are to be treated with respect.

The Ranks include:

• Director [hp]: The leader of the group.
• Co-Director [hp]: Second in command.
• Advisors [s/hp]: Aids that have proven themselves loyal and kind.
• Representatives [s/hp]: Residents that had proven themselves loyal and kind.
• Aids: Those that hold therapy sessions and assist in the care of residents.
• Residents: Those that require care of some kind.

There are many customs and events provided for members of the group. These may include contests, such as poetry contests, art contests, dance contests, and talent shows. Group therapy sessions may be held at any time by aids or higher ranks. Swimming under supervision provides the potential for fun water related events in the warmer months. Therapeutic horse trail rides are often held for the residents and aids alike. Feasts with other allied groups or in response to birthdays will be held. All major holidays such as Christmas will likely be celebrated. According to custom, therapy dogs and emotional support rabbits are provided to those that prove capable and willing to care for these animals.

“The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love, and to be greater than our suffering.” – Ben Okri.

“We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.” – Tom Stoppard.

“All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.” – Anatole France.

"Never think that war, no matter how necessary, nor how justified, is not a crime." – Ernest Hemingway.

Wendell Berry said, “The past is our definition.  We may strive with good reason to escape it, or to escape what is bad in it.  But we will escape it only by adding something better to it.”

“There is no refuge from memory and remorse in this world.  The spirits of our foolish deeds haunt us, with or without repentance.” Gilbert Parker.[/spoiler]

Planned Injuries for Sheogorath.

Left Leg: Deep wolf bite, teeth sliced through flesh and muscle to pierce bone. The back and forth shaking of the wolf's head causes extensive damage that leaves Sheogorath with a permanent limp and generalized weakness in the limb for the rest of his life. The initial healing of the wound could take a month, but the weakness will never go away.

Right Leg: While falling down the cliff, Sheogorath will strike his leg on the rocks, fracturing the bone below the knee. Recovery time is two months, but he may begin walking on it again, with assistance, after about one month. The leg will heal fully given time.

Right Ribcage: Cracked ribs and intense bruising that make breathing sharp and difficult. Pain will settle and allow for better breathing after about a week, and the injury will heal fully after about a month.

Skull: Slamming into the rocks, the head will sustain significant injury, resulting in unconsciousness, retrogade amnesia, intense pain, bleeding, and blurry vision. The blurred vision will settle after about a half hour. The bleeding can be managed with bandages.  Headaches will continue for weeks. The amnesia is permanent, and Sheogorath will never be able to retrieve the memories he has lost. Recovery time for complete healing of the skull is about a month and a half.

Ultimately, Sheogorath will survive with intense care, either from being allowed to remain in Flintlock, or (after being cast out to die), being picked up by a friendly merchant couple that take him in and insure his safety and survival.
