Sheogorath's Redemption Arc.

-- Sheogorath starts to get nightmares about the people he has killed. He sees their faces haunting him in his dreams. At first, he he simply feels agitated about his restlessness, but as the dreams continue, he begins to feel a hint of guilt that develops over time.

-- Sheogorath has a near death experience. Not only does this make him feel vulnerable, but while he lays there unconscious, he also has a vision of hellfire, and quite suddenly realizes that his very soul could could be threatened as a result of his actions. Coupled with his newfound guilt from his dreams, Sheogorath pledges to make up for his foul deeds and redeem himself.

-- Eventually, Sheogorath realizes that remaining in the Badlands isn't doing him any good. He's surrounded by reminders of his former self, and things that tempt him to return to that lifestyle. So, Sheogorath leaves the Badlands.

-- Hoping to apologize to Flintlock, and make up for what he has done to them, Sheogorath will travel into the mountains. But, he'll end up being attacked by a wild dog or wolf, which will heavily injure his leg, preventing him from walking. He falls off a cliff during the attack, losing his memory. Crippled and frightened, Sheogorath is hopefully allowed to remain in Flintlock.

-- Sheogorath essentially grows used to Flintlock ways, and enjoys the atmosphere. He pleads to the current leader to allow him to stay. Whether or not he can will depend on the leader's choice themselves, but my personal hope is that he will be permitted to join after spending so many weeks there recovering from his injury, getting to know the members, and perhaps even making friends, and proving that he has Flintlock's best interests in mind.

-- If Sheogorath is forced out of Flintlock he will likely die.

-- If Sheogorath is permitted to join Flintlock, he will continue to better himself and will spend the rest of his days there, helping out the group however he can. Whether or not his memory returns is undecided.

Some things Sheogorath deals with that I need to integrate more often into his posts. Please note that I have every single thing on this list, so I have personal experience with each developmental and mental issue listed.

-- Sheogorath is high functioning autistic. I've mentioned this before in his past, but he's so high functioning (unlike me lol) that I never bother putting it in his tags because anyone who doesn't have autism or doesn't associate with autism would not be able to recognize the signs he displays because he's not low functioning so much that he often displays autistic traits. Some traits that he does display include:

    • Stimming. Sheogorath will tap objects, and rock back and forth depending on mood.
    • Sheogorath has a habit of taking things literally. Tell him a joke and he might not understand it!
    • He can't really read human emotion that well. He's not good at reading facial expressions.
    • Sheogorath can be socially awkward at times if you catch him off guard, and while he rarely stutters, he possibly will if he's faced with an unexpected conversation.
    • Sheogorath has trouble displaying proper responses. He may laugh when others are in pain, even if he doesn't think it's funny, simply because he can't control how he reacts.
    • He can get overwhelmed with too much sound, light, or other stimuli and while rare, he can and will have a meltdown.
    • Certain textures are favored over others. Sheogorath is calmed by soft fur, but gets agitated by sandpaper and the feel of beans in his mouth.
    • Sheogorath obsesses over certain things, like dinosaurs.
    • He will repeat things over and over again, like closing a door multiple times before feeling satisfied.

-- Sheogorath has a learning disorder. He has something called discalculia, meaning he has a learning disability in math.

    • A bit like dyslexia, Sheogorath will often see numbers backwards, or not in the correct order.
    • He is unable to count money.
    • He cannot tell time from a clock that doesn't directly display the time.
    • Sheogorath is incapable of even the most basic mathematics, such as addition, or multiplication. If he can't count it on his fingers, he can't do it.

-- Sheogorath is bipolar. He displays common traits related to this illness. 

    • He has mood swings.
    • During manic episodes, Sheogorath feels as if he can do anything, and often believes himself a god.
    • During depressive episodes, Sheogorath feels guilt, loneliness, and overall insecurity.

-- Sheogorath has PTSD. After his time in the Group of Captors, and Scarecrow's attack, Sheogorath has minor PTSD.

    • Certain triggers give him flashbacks.
    • Triggers include rattling chains, hot iron, and smiley faces.
    • Sneaking up behind Sheogorath can cause him panic and flashbacks and will cause him to react aggressively.
    • He struggles to trust others due to memories of how he has been manipulated in the past.

The Reason
I'm not a perfect person. There's many things I wish I didn't do. But I continue learning. I never meant to do so things to you, and so I have to say before I go, that I just want you to know; I found a reason for me to change who I used to be, a reason to start over new, and the reason is you.
