he looked down. “i am but.. i’m always here..” he said softly, looking down. he hesitated. “sebby, go play with carson.” he said softly.

[peridot.]

Eddie watched Seb go before he scrubbed at his eyes as he felt tears welling up, mumbling softly, "I... I just wanna be able to be around more. To be around my kids..."

[dannychan]

virgil nodded and pulled him closer, nuzzling into his shoulder as his own tears formed. “i know..” he mumbled.

[peridot.]

Eddie began to cry, snuggling into Virgil and shaking as he sobbed.

[dannychan]

he held him, running fingers through his hair. “it’s ok..” he whispered.

[peridot.]

"I'm a bad Mom! I should've been here from the beginning!" He said, shaking. He referred to himself as 'Mom' as well, since all the kids did anyways.

[dannychan]

he frowned. “no, baby, you’re not a bad mom..” he said softly.

[peridot.]

"The kids barely see me... That's a bad Mom..." Eddie said, sniffling and trembling.

[dannychan]

he hesitated. “oh..” he breathed. “it’s not like i ask him to help often but.. he does things at school, i guess he sells stuff and he makes some money and sometimes he makes lunch but.. i don’t think i’ve ever asked him to watch the others..”

[peridot.]

"You may not ask him, but he probably feels like he has to, since they're his family..." He said, sighing and running a stressed hand through his hair, "And you are usually exhausted..."
