maaaaybe gavin gets more used to bones touching him but only touching his shoulders up and nines is just constantly touching him bc it’s the only time he sees him smile now??

It had been a few days since the funeral, and it seemed like Gavin was slowly getting used to Nines touching him in certain places. At first Nines hadn't bothered touching the other much, figuring he wouldn't like it, but then he'd discovered that, when he touched Gavin's cheek or neck or shoulders, the other would smile a bit and chuckle at him, figuring he was curious. Of course, this had prompted Nines to want to touch the other as much as possible in his comfortable places. So, after giving Gavin some more hot chocolate and a sandwich at lunch time while they were watching things, he waited until the other was sitting comfortably before moving and gently touching Gavin's jaw, swiping his thumb along the other's jawline and tilting his head.

gavin has been curled up on the couch, watching tv, fowler having given him ‘as much tan as he needed’ since nines could do paper work and come into the station when he was needed. he looked up when nines moved over and tiktes his head into his hand, the smallest smile appearing on his face and his eyes closing. “thanks..”

Nines blinked in surprise, and his pale skin turned a bit blue as he said softly, "You are welcome, Gavin.." He slid his other hand down Gavin's neck to gently squeeze his shoulder, his LED spinning as his thumb absentmindedly continued swiping his thumb over Gavin's cheek.

he made a soft noise and eventually pulled his face away, starting to eat quietly.

Nines smiled softly and pulling his hands back, resting them in his lap and saying softly, "I... Apologize for being so curious about touching."

[dannychan]

he blinked and hesitated. “it’s ok.. i.. just don’t like people touching me when i’m eating.” he mumbled, asdding ‘or in general’ in his head.

Nines blinked and nodded, saying softly as he glanced down for a  moment, "I will keep that in mind."
