BREIF HISTORY when his dad found out that his mom was pregnant, he broke off their relationship and decided to keep his distance. he wasn't ready for a kid, he just wanted a fun fling without the responsibility. he was the head honcho at his place of work, he wanted fun and frisky where at work he had to be rigid and boring. so, he stepped back. he helped out financially and was there when bambi was born, but for the first six years of his life, bambi knew very little about his dad. up until his mother was murdered and he was sent to live with his dad. his father was just that, a father, he wasn't a dad. he was borderline a bully, and though he did care for his son he didn't really know how to love him properly, which is a part of why bambi can be so clingy. however, despite his dad wanting him to stop being so "soft" and "feminine", even started calling him bambi to be insulting (though bambi likes the nickname so). once bambi finished school, he broke off contact with his dad (kind of). he doesn't consider him his dad, never has, but still calls him for holidays and birthdays because he is his dad, he just isn't close with him. it's weird.
