BRING ME DOWN TO THE OCEAN FLOOR / private

ok i’ll start~

zadda has led them to the forest that first entered the sedes main city, the massive redwoods holding tree houses and markets sprinkled across the forest floor selling all sorts of trinkets. most of the sedes didn’t care about humans, so they just tried to draw their attention to their stands. “let’s introduce you guys to yudi, first!” he said brightly and moved to grab a rope ladder to climb up to the main tree house type thing, humming.

Emmi nodded excitedly and followed after him excitedly, scrambling up the ladder. Newt seemed to hesitate a bit, not a big fan of heights and thinking the rope ladder looked a bit unsteady, but eventually he scrambled up as well.

the tree houses felt completely steady. the didn’t shift with the wind or creak unless you stood at the edge, which was blocked off by rope and wire fances. he happily rushed across a few wood and rope bridges to get to a smaller tree home, and opened the door. he made some sounds that sounded like a dolphin for a moment and a much taller, tree like sedes moved through a door across the room. he was more creem instead of blue, moss like fur covering his legs, torso, and arms, thinning out at hands, feet, and neck. bark-like skin covered any soft and vulnerable place on his body (including private areas). he had vine like hair aort of resembling dreads, and murky brown eyes. flowers had sprouted at the end of his fine hair, and were slowly falling off. he was wearing a very thin, opened robe/kimono type thing, just a lot more futuristic looking. “zadda, you brought humans?” yudi asked, seeming mildly annoyed at the sudden intrusion.

Emmi's eyes widened at Yuri's appearance, and immediately let out a soft 'cool', while Newt seemed both fascinated and vaguely fearful, mainly because this Sedes was over a foot taller than him, and sort of scary, but still, he tilted his head curiously. Emmi said, waving a little, "Uhm, hello. I'm Emmi, and this is Newt."

yudi looked at the three and sighed. “yudirey ostik.” he introduced, grabbing a bowl full of green apples from the table and offering them to emmi and newt. “apples?” he offered, giving an awkward smile. his teeth weren’t sharp like zadda’s, but more human like. zadda hummed. “yudi really likes apples. all he ever eats.” he said.

Emmi nodded eagerly and took an apple, smiling, but Newt shook his head, mumbling softly, "Uhm, n-no, I'm alright. I don't really like apples.."

he blinked and moved to set the bowl back down, seeming to start littlerally hissing like a snake at zadda. zadda respondes in his little dolphin like way and yudi sighed. “fine, i guess.” he said. “you take your little boyfriend to the under, and i’ll.. talk to this one for a while until he wants to join.” he scratched between his own bark-covered gills and sighed.

Emmi blinked and blushed furiously when he was called Zadda's little boyfriend. Making a soft flustered noise, he blinked down at his diving gear and scampered into another room, "U-Uhm, I'm gonna change to be ready!"
Newt, meanwhile, seemed to be staring at Yudi with extremely wide eyes, having been startled by the snake like hissing.

he happily followed, humming brightly.
