Yet another ceremony to do. Stonestar honestly hadn't been expecting ceremonies to be such a huge part of his work, but it was clear that they were, and they made many cats very happy, so he didn't mind doing them so often. Leaping utop the high rock that could be seen from around the whole camp, he yowled firmly, "All cats old enough to hunt, please gather around for a special occasion!" As everyone started to gather around, he looked around curiously for the next cat that was going through a ceremony, Foxkit. It was a while before he saw the kit, and he smiled at her, practically feeling the excitement coursing through him that he had had when he had been just a kit.
He then cleared his throat, saying calmly, "I've gathered you all here so that we can celebrate an kit becoming a courageous apprentic that will serve our clan well. Foxkit, can you please step up here?" Once the kit came up, he smiled and said, his head dipping down in greeting, "Foxkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Foxpaw. Your mentor will be none other than me, Stonestar. I hope that I can pass down all that I know on to you." He felt nervous about taking on yet another apprentice, but it was only his second, and he was sure that he could teach her well. Besides, he knew that if he had become the leader's apprentice as a kit, he would have been overjoyed. Stepping forward, Stonestar leaned down to touch his nose to Foxkit- now Foxpaw's, giving her a calm smile.
