╾ theodora peregrine stoker was was born november 2nd in augusta, maine, making her a scorpio. she's usually twenty-three, but her age can really go from 19-28.
╾ call her theo. she likes theo much better than theodora.
╾ theodora has a buncha rich parents named theodore and penelope (very rich, very old money type people, yes they probably hung out with the harknesses in my sweet au)
╾ she is an incredibly awkward human being. socially, she has very little grace. she comes off as anti-social and blunt, often looking for ways out of conversations in very rude ways.
╾ she totally is totally based off pellinore warthrop/john chanler from rick yancy's
the monstrumologist series. please check out those books this is a psa
╾ thoeodora's family has a bit of a secret. her parents inherited an old (
old) mansion from their great aunt. it hadn't been lived in for decades, and in the attic, they found notebooks and specimen jars of what could only be described as
monsters. see, her family had at some point in time, been monstrumologists.
╾ monstrumologists aren't merely hunters of monsters, they're examiners of monsters. like a zooologist, monstrumology is studying rare, unusual animals, and making sure they're kept out of the general public eye.
╾ theodora is the first born monstrumologist in a very, very long time. her parents raised her in the basement in a lab coat. while others were playing with teddy bears, theodora was memorizing the names of monsters, and maintaining the specimen jars the best she could.
╾ when she was about nineteen, theodora's parents went to canada after a beloved friend went missing the the mountains. unfortunately, it was right in a place where rumors of monsters and yellow eyed demons went to lead you to their deaths, so they decided to check to see if there actually was some kind of monster living in the mountains. they never came back.

cannibalism tw theo waited for a few months, and then went after them. she found a guide to help her navigate through the wilderness, and set off. unfortunately, the guide didn't do crap after they got really,
really lost. they were lost for about three weeks, when things started happening. first, her guide disappeared. she found his body nailed to a dead tree the next morning, guts hanging out and frozen. then, with nowhere to go and nothing left to eat, she was forced to drag his body down, and take what she could from his corpse.
╾ after that, things just got weird. she started to see yellow eyes in the distance, she could hear humming just by her ear, and it drove her insane.
╾ then, there's The Blank, the space between her shivering in a tent, to her waking up in a hospital. she doesn't know how long it lasted, just that she had lost at least fifty pounds between her memories.
╾ after that, theodora returned home, but with some side effects. unfortunately, theodora had become a wendigo.
╾ or, the wendigo kinda possesses her, it's confusing. kinda like an inner animal that shows up around blood, guts, or really any kind of human flesh, theodora gets hungry, and it shows up. it's never sated, and it's always ready to rip someone's face off. when it shows up, her nails and teeth sharpen, and her spine readjusts so she can run on all four of her limbs. it's kinda freakish and scary, honestly.

╾ usually uses her powers to go after the unjust, largely creeps who go after girls and young boys. her favorite flavor is 40 something old man, or the Horny Frat Boy ™
╾ her nose is pierced, and her ears are gauged. she had a lip ring, but she basically never wears it.
╾ incredibly smart, but also incredibly socially awkward. she was homeschooled, and her best friends were books, really.
╾ shes Trying Her Best to still stay on the good side, and study monsters, but it's hard as heck man
╾ low key is the head of this three-woman cult of wendigos that she turned. she's the one who usually takes the heart, but whatever. just know, she's the leader. she's the big boss.
╾ she's always the boss, no matter what.
╾ bisexual, but she definitely doesn't like boys a lot.
╾ loves raspberry scones with a deep, burning passion.
╾ constantly tired of everyone, just wants to hide in her basement and study in peace.
╾ science-minded girlie. very cold, very clinical. can't give advice or comfort, ever.
╾ i low key wanna find a little girl who was orphaned so theodora can have a monstrumologist apprentice
╾ she's probably die arms-deep in some corpse, or some monster's corpse, or a monster and a human corpse. you know, either one.
