It was like she would never learn; her instinct to hide was too much to ignore, but her distress at being alone would always conflict with it. Eobshin was currently curled up in a branch toward the edges of the territory, occasionally flicking her tongue out to taste the air. She wasn't as scared as she probably should have been, given the circumstances. If a predator were to appear, she would be an easy catch. Despite this, she was under the impression that her father and her clanmates were super heroes, ready to save her at any given moment if she needed it.

Quietly, she shifted her head, laying it onto one of her body rolls.

"Babby snack."she muttered.

[align=center][div style="width:450px;text-align:justify;margin-top:10px;color:#000;"][font=verdana][size=8pt]The sound of an unfamiliar voice jarred Eobshin; she hadn't been expecting anyone to be around here. Her gaze flicked down to the ground, staring at the little dog. Oh! She hadn't seen an animal like that before! He looked really small! Well, compared to the other animals she'd met. He was still definitely much larger than her. She flicked her tongue out, tasting the air. Hm. He smelled of unfamiliar places, of unfamiliar animals. That made her a little worried, a little suspicious. But... Kill-wa didn't smell like here, and he was safe!

That was proof enough to her that he was trustworthy.

She started to slowly slither down the tree, carefully moving along the ridges in the bark to keep from falling. She eventually made it to the ground, flicking her tongue out at the puppy before curling up in front of him. She had absolutely no idea what he'd said meant, but she was good at repeating things, so she'd try that.

"Lick snack."she stated. "Eggs."

Her tongue tickled his muzzle lightly because of how close he had gotten, and she felt his nose touch hers. It was wet, which was strange, but she didn't mind it enough to move away. She just kept tasting the air, tickling his face with her little tongue. He tasted weird, and he smelled weird. Like moist plants? She realized slowly that he was still talking to her.

Oh! Name! She remembered being taught that.

"Babby snack!"she exclaimed, then paused for a second, shifting to point the tip of her tail at her face. Just like her Daddy taught her. "Eobshin!"

She then pushed forward further, pointing her tail at the puppy.

"Eggs! Pwetty!"

Her mood was always easily affected by others, so it was only natural that she got happy as soon as he laughed. The words he said were a bit confusing to her, some of them ones that she hadn't quite learned the meaning of yet, but she picked up enough on the key words to understand what he meant.

"Shadow! Um... Shadow... cl... clan. Shadowclan!"she said, struggling for a second to remember how to say the entirety of the clan's name. It was a big word, after all, and she wasn't good with those yet. She tilted her head slightly at him. "Swamp..? What that? Is big? Like Shadow?"

The hat gained her interest immediately. Ooh! It looked like it was the perfect size to hide in! She loved hiding in things! She didn't really know why she liked hiding. It just felt natural; she felt safe and warm whenever she was under cover. Without wasting a second, she shifted her body to slither forward, nudging the underside of the hat up a bit with her head before crawling underneath it. She stayed under it, in the dark, for a second before sticking her head out again. "Fun! Ebby like m'hat!"
