- nico is her best friend, they have best friends for so fucking long
- marley certainly does in fact have fears. the main fear she has is the dark. she can't stand it, she still sleeps with a tv on even though she is a teen and when she doesn't have a tv she goes and sleeps with other people in their rooms for the comfort. another fear she has is being left behind or forgotten. she gets attached to people easily and it will absolutely tear her apart of they leave or forget about her. the last thing she is afraid of his not being good enough. that thought terrifies her.

- in grade school once a little boy named thomas gave her candy, and maika thought that was love. that novel like romance lasted two periods until recess when he gave candy to barbara next to the swings

- she is so talkative man, she could probably chat someone's ear off for a few hours at one time without pausing, she has lots she wants to share with people
- marley is very independent and humorous. she's stubborn and a wildfire, always having comments to shoot back at someone. she is also very nice though and is easy to get a lot with

- he is the lead singer in a very popular local band, he plays in a lot of clubs and bars, they are slowly making their music known

- his jokes and very lively appearance covers his depression tbh
- he's a funny dude, he's always cracking jokes. he's someone people want to be around, he's the life of the party. he's been that way forever
- he hates being alone. he surrounds himself with people so he doesn't have to be by himself
- he's basically numbed his body from all pain? ever since his dad abused him he's been that way. he always acts like nothing hurts him, like he's invincible
- everyone always says he's gonna die before the age of twenty-eight because that's the road he's heading down 
- i love him though so it's okay, he's just a problematic boy
- he not only has all of the tattoos because he likes to express himself that way but also to cover the scars from his father, they were pretty nasty and are actually still kind of visible if you focus
- if his father ever comes back he'll probably shut down right in that moment and not be able to do anything but stay still

- okay. so. vanessa doesn't mind at all going by her first name. some nicknames that are common include v, ness, nessa, nessy and blu is a very common one. her mother calls her vanessa blu a lot though as well
- she is a mixture of african american, italian, irish, and hungarian
- people never believe that her actual middle name is blu and that she just wanted her hair color to be blue as well because she liked it
- pansexual and panromantic af
- has a bunch of tattoos man
- has the cutest freckles on her nose and the tops of her cheeks. they are pretty faint though so foundation covers them up almost completely, you can see them really when she has no makeup on
- says she doesn't have a type but somehow she always ends up liking non innocent guys who breaks her heart, girl why do you do that to yourself

- okay let's talk about her family situations. her relationship with her father is actually really toxic. he has high expectations with her and sometimes they are expectations she can't achieve. he has a tendency to guilt trip vanessa, always getting her to be the one to feel bad about stuff she shouldn't feel bad about. two years after their divorce, he married his new wife, gale hawkins hollister. gale doesn't really like vanessa all that much and often gets mad in trouble with her father. together james and gale have had two sons, one is eight years younger than ness and the other one is nine years younger, their names are jeremy and theodore. she gets along with them quite well.
- now for her mother. her mother's name is flo scott she gets along with her mother very well, they are so close. her mother actually grew up a buddhist but she converted to christianity when she met james, seeing how she thought she was in love with him and he had a way with charming people to the point of getting them to do anything. once they divorced, her mother went back to being a buddhist and actually opened up a place where hurt, abused, or any in need animals go to grow stronger and healthier. vanessa loves it there. her mother now has a boyfriend named malachai, they have been dating for ten years and don't plan on getting married. five years ago they had a son named toddy and just recently they had a baby girl named magnolia.
- she loves flowers so much, she can tell you every single type of flower with huge descriptions of each, and they will be in order from her favorite to her least favorite

- always pretty happy and outgoing around people. ness was diagnosed with depression and anxiety though

- would you believe it? she's the first characer i'm giving an actual little bio to and not just something on my discord server
- normally goes by isabella but some people do call her bella. she doesn't mind it, she enjoys nicknames. her older twin brother, jamie, calls her iz/izzy and she'll get a bit uncomfortable when people other than him calls her that. but, every other nicknames/pet names are up for grabs!
- has naturally straight brunette hair that reaches the middle of her back. her eyes are a dark blue color with hints of green laced within. she stands at 5'4 inches, a little on the shorter average side
- everything about her is soft. from the way she speaks to the way she moves, it all has a sense of purity that makes you want to protect her, to be gentle around her. almost as if she were a glass vase on the edge of the table ready to fall off at any minute
- she loves jamie so much. she'd do pretty much anything for him. he's her security blanket, she often also always feels as if she's holding him back. she feels like she's too clingy at times and that he may secretly be annoyed with her
- she overthinks everything. she's always worried and afraid of things happening
- she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety when she was a teenager.
- tw: sexual assault + suicide attempt during her last year of highschool she had fallen for a boy in her grade. they soon began to date and isabella truly believed he was the one. one night he ended up bringing her to a party and he and a few of his friends sexually assaulted her. she walked home later that night, broken and sobbing. she ended up attempting to kill herself by overdosing on medication, though someone ended up finding her in time
- she has two beautiful calico cats, calla and lily heh my irl babies
- she started going to therapy not too long after the incident and she's been in it since then, it seems to have helped her quite a bit
- she's not an outgoing and energetic type of soft sweetheart, she's the more dull and almost timid type
- has really bad night terrors as well as sleep paralysis
