sana ali khawari - stop thinking about the bullets from my mouth, i love the things you hate about yourself
- the daughter of ali khawari and the greek goddess demeter
- born in houston, texas on december 2nd
- 16-19
- suffers from dyslexia
- bisexual biromantic
- angry, argumentative, caring, motherly, open, outgoing, humourous, funny, loving, emotional, sentimental, moody, emotionally intuitive, intelligent, tired, determined, focused, cluttered, free spirited
- about a year before sana was born, her father, a thirty-one year old man with an entire clan behind him begging him to get married because he was getting "too old," encountered a young pakistani woman around his age, supposedly named rabia hussaini. they hit it off immediately, and ali really felt like he had finally met someone whom he wanted to settle down with. after only three months, rabia was pregnant with their child, and ali was afraid of tarnishing his family's name by impregnating someone before marriage. they both agreed to keep it a secret for as long as they could, but his family found out when she was seven months in. fortunately, they weren't too angry, so ali and rabia had a baby girl on the second of december and named her sana.
- rabia revealed as soon as sana was born that she was not who she truly was. she introduced herself as the greek goddess demeter, but ali didn't believe it, as he was a practicing muslim and didn't believe in other gods. when she revealed her true form, he finally somewhat understood what she was, but didn't believe she was a true god, which belief would eventually be passed on to his daughter.
- ali raised sana himself and tried to keep her as sheltered as possible from any talk of her mother. he was bitter about not truly having the one person he thought he loved, but he didn't want to ruin his daughter's life.
- sana was never too bothered about not having a mother. she had her dad, and she figured that was good enough for her. otherwise, her entire childhood was relatively uneventful.
- when sana was eleven years old, in the sixth grade, she started wearing hijab. she took pride in her religion and culture and would wear her kurtis to school when she could, but that stopped when she was in eighth grade and she almost got assaulted at school because of her weight but also, more importantly, her hijab and culture.
- she ultimately stopped wearing it because it had put her in danger and she started wearing more "white clothes" as her dad calls them to fit in more.
- she was in the ninth grade, fourteen years old, when her father finally told her about her mother. she was in disbelief and didn't really believe him at all and thought he was playing some kind of sick joke until she got claimed when she was being escorted out of school by a satyr when a monster attacked her during an assembly.
- she hasn't ever come out to her father, but she knows that she's bisexual. she'd probably go for a guy more often than she'd go for a girl, but she loves 'em both u know
- she and her father have a closer relationship because of everything they've been through, and if she ever hears anyone make fun of his accent she will deck them because he can't help it okay he came to the us when he was tweNTY
- when she gets angry, all the plants around her go haywire and depending on the anger, they either die or overgrow. if it's a fuming, quiet angry, they shrivel up, and if it's a raging, loud anger, they grow too large and too big and it's chaos.
- sana's always wanted to find love because she's always wanted one person to count on, forever and always, but it just hasn't happened yet.
- she's a little less religious in terms of modesty and intimacy but she's still a devout muslim.
- shhe was always made fun of for her weight throughout school, and she sucks at sports, but the only sport she can do is dance. she's the best, most elegant ballerina, and she can do most contemporary fances so freakibg well she's a dance goddess okay
- she's deathly afraid of water, the ocean, deep water, that shiz
- i probably forgot some stuff but i'll add it in as i remember
