John glanced down at the other. He waited a moment before resting a hand on his back gently.

he blinked and moved a bit closer, nuzzling him gently and closing his eyes.

John slowly wrapped an arm around him, holding him close. He closed his eyes, letting out a soft breath. After a bit, he fell asleep.

It had been a few days later of Sherlock being abck with them. Everyone was happy with his return. And John seemed to be showing it since the others could see how happy John was now. He was even beginning to look healthier. However, John had noticed Sherlock started acting strangely. He had started noticing a few things Sherlock did which kind of seemed like he had some sort of OCD. Of course, John didn't care either way whether Sherlock did or not. He was still his friend no matter what. It was just kind of intriguing that he was just now noticing these things about Sherlock

the only reason john was starting to notice, was because normally sherlock had done these things while john was asleep. he hasn’t wanted to scare him off, so he had suffered through it and just went on with life like that, but now that he was home, he was more panicky, so they had become more frequent. he would go around, checking all of the locks and doors and such, opening and closing them and then locking, unlocking, and locking them again. if he entered a room, he had to snap at least twice just to make sure people knew he was there, and if he closed a book, he had to open it to either page thirty ore two hundred thirty, make sure he didn’t miss any pages and then close it again. if he got a spoon or fork or knife for the drawer, he god to wipe the back of it against his shirt or he wouldn’t use it. it might seem odd to everyone else, but if he didn’t do these things, his chest would get tighter and tighter until he did. currently, he was in the middle of locking and unlocking one of the doors again, for at least the third time today.

John glanced over at Sherlock. He smiled softly. “Sherlock,is alright. Don’t worry.” John murmured.

he looked over and blinked, hesitating. “what..?”

He blinked. “You keep unlocking and then locking the door. Are you scared of something?” John asked

he blinked and shook his head. “no. just.. don’t worry about it.”
