Ian frowned slightly and glanced after Carl, saying softly, "I think he's upset about me going." He looked between Fiona, Lip, and Mickey before getting to his feet and heading into the kitchen, "Carl...?"

carl looked over and blinked. “yeah..?”

Ian said softly, leaning against the counter, "You seemed a bit upset about me going.."

[dannychan]

he hesitated. “i’m upset because i want to leave too..”

He blinked and said, surprised, "You want to leave too..? Why?"

he frowned. “because.. i don’t like it here. you think i like living like this? we nearly didn’t have enough money for any of he bills this month. we almost couldn’t buy enough food. fiona constantly scares me, and lip is turning into frank..” he said. “debbie is constantly a bitch and her kid cries constantly. i can hardly sleep anymore.” he said shakily. “you’re pretty much the most normal thing around here.”

He blinked and frowned, immediately feeling his heart sink at Carl's words. He sighed, gently pulling Carl close and hugging him for a moment before mumbling, "Well... You could come with me and Mickey.."

he blinked at the hug and hugged back. “you know fiona would never let me..” he mumbled.

Fiona glanced over at Lip and slowly signed, "Fine. Fine. But you better visit. You know this family loves you and wants to see you at least occasionally." Ian smiled softly at her and nodded, "I promise I'll visit."
