get members to (with public domain images only) make avatars, square ones, for the avatar galleries. pay them in bones and maybe a graphic design badge?

add a referral field to the forum profile and people can say who referred them, we can then more easily reward ppl who have referred others, can check emails, ips, etc to prevent abuse. maybe also require referred members to have a post count minimum before giving out reward
