the way i see it is, there's a lot of other sites with games similar to wnr, and they're doing good but that style of game is their only focus. tnw is very unique among the sites that members circle around, and if we want to attract people, that's kind of our white whale ig.
if wnr did get moved into more of a backboard position, i also feel like it could open a lot of possibilities for tnw. obviously it's just ideas and up to staff, but a few of us were talking about more tnw frontboard groups? we have flintlock, where it's generally been expressed that they're more interested in general peace and not being raided; northstar, which is a neutral trading group and obviously not conflict oriented; and the badlands, kind of a lawful bad group. apart from the goc, which is a temporary plot, it could be fun to get more extremes? a very chaotic bad group to give an enemy to everyone, similar to goc; maybe a pro group that is willing to go to war and get raided and fight for what they think is right?
i dunno, obviously just spit-balling ideas here, but wnr is something you can find in a lot of places, and tnw is something very unique that bb has, it's seemingly the most successful, and i think it's our best option at the moment if we want to try going with more of a unique main game. THE MIDDLE PART- i would LOVE to see more permanent groups and not just event groups!!

and it could be a good transition to tnw getting it's own shop (i can't remember if anything was decided on this when it was last discussed), just to maybe help with regulation as it/if it becomes a bigger focus?

I think my main problem is that with WNR being as slow as it is, if it gets sent to the backboards, it might lose what little activity it still has and die completely
and while I understand that trying to give WNR more focus with plots and stuff only got us so far last time, I guess I just. dunno how I feel about all this

This but also.
If it comes down to it and a tnw shop isn't made, you could always remove the shop all together. Since wnr is pretty much ded, maybe it would give them more freedom to grow on their own?
and i see fire, blood in the breeze

tbh, the idea of a tnw ship is v.. offputting. i don't want to spend bones on stuff like "oh your character gets a.. big gun" when i could be spending it on stuff like art on site and stuff. it also has always been kind of restricting- and there's never been a problem with super OP characters in tnw. i feel if a ship it added, people might but stuff just to buy hem and the characters will end up, you know, overpowered.
i mean, if it's for abnormalities like.. 6th sense or a literal third eye, then yeah, if it adds more creativity and unrealistic things, but not if it's gonna be kept realistic, if you know what i mean?

on the note of what you can spend your bones on, i do just want to point out that trading bones for art when there's nothing you can do with these bones is kind of... just not going to happen? nobody really wants to trade for a currency that they can't use for anything, so if wnr wasn't shop based, or big enough to really care about buying things in the shop with, and nothing tnw goes into the shop, then there's not much point in keeping bones... at all?

if there was to be a tnw shop, no guns/weapons/packs would be sold - it’d be luxuries or something that you guys haven’t already implemented used in tnw that still maintains realism that cannot be used up like food or ammo or weapons
[div style="0px; width:450px; height:auto; text-align: center; font-size: 9pt; line-height:13px;"]
that being said, what would you consider luxuries?
i mean, i wouldn't want the shop to be STRICTLY guns and like.. medicines bc considering it's tnw, that's what it would be. there's not a lot you would be able to buy that would be worth buying. that's my point.
