question abt posting replies to threads

I was just wondering how come when I post it takes me out of the thread and I have to go back in to see my post + is this a permanent thing or is it literally just happening to me

there's a setting under "look and layout" that says "automatically return me to a thread after posting in it"- check the box by it, and you should be good to go ^^
