Azu's eyes widened, and a soft squeak left the tskrang's throat as he said in a low hiss, "Nothing serious? That sounds awful!"

he rose an eyebrow. "it's not like i'm being forced to do it! gods, everyone acts like this when i tell them and it pisses me off.. i choose to do it so i can feed my little sister."

He blinked and frowned, saying quietly, "I'm sure there are other ways to feed your little sister... I realize you're not being forced, but it still seems.... dehumanizing."

Azu seemed a bit uncomfortable, but he simply sighed and said, not bothering t argue any further, "Well... alright."

he frowned and glanced over him for a moment. "you don't have to stay." he mumbled. "if you don't want to." he said and got off the counter to go back to the back room.

He blinked and said, getting to his feet and letting his tail swish behind him as he said quietly, "Wait, I didn't even say anything. I didn't say I didn't want to stay here."
