at the top of your lungs, i've heard you scream in your sleep.
( choleric / chaotic neutral / intp "logician" / individualist / altruistic [ + ] / aloof [ - ] / brazen [ - ] / insouciant [ = ] / pragmatic [ + ] / forthright [ = ] / cynical [ - ] / enigmatic [ = ] / sagacious [ + ] / reticent [ - ] / astute [ + ] )
( though most know little to almost nothing about parks' history or true goals as she has a reputation of being a rather withdrawn individual, mostly keeping to herself, there is one distinguished ambition she shares with the rest of the bunch / survival / sure, she still has her selfish qualities, often claiming she's only fighting for herself,but that doesn't entirely mean she won't come to assist her allies when in need, ultimately if it benefits her in the end / after all, without them, parks is definitely aware there's no way for her to reach her objectives, though she won't ever blatantly state that she's on their side as she continues to reject any offers of companionship and then berate anyone for even trusting her enough to ask, going as far to push the idea that they shouldn't dare waste their time relying on someone like her / but since they share the same ideas / she supposes she could stick around for a bit )
( parks isn't very consistent with her alignments nor is she concerned with keeping a fair balance, altering from whichever side that suits her interests for that moment. / therefore, she can't be considered 'good' or 'bad', but more or less "neutral" / if she can, she'll avoid either side of the spectrum, preferring to stick to a solitary lifestyle, or at the very least, avoid situations that don't directly involve her )
( parks is a highly cynical woman, and she's sure everyone knows that too as she's constantly making it clear, but, her cynicism isn't necessarily a bad thing when it comes down to it / actually, it allows parks to recognize unhealthy motivations within an individual because, she, in the past, had also been there; she knows and she understands, but not at all is she going to let someone gradually destroy themselves over their harmful incentives / she'll openly call them out, trying to urge them to stop and open their eyes, being a firm believer of the idea that if you’re not acknowledging or accepting your true self, then you aren’t really living at all / what’s the point / hiding behind a mask, fooling your peers into believe you’re someone you’re not / eventually, all that shit won’t matter / the walls that you built will come tumbling down, and the harsh truth will come out; it always does / so, if they want to reach their goal so bad, do it a different way )
( parks isn't exactly a kind and compassionate person, everyone knows; routinely seen attacking her comrades with biting quips with the intention of getting under their skin / she's not exactly the friend-type nor is she generous, willing to put others before herself, and she doesn't have any problems admitting or taking pride in such facts / but, rarely, will one catch her trying to do the right thing, which will, sure enough, surprise them at the peculiar doings / to be honest, it surprises parks just as much, though there will always be an inner battle between her slanted morals and her nagging conscience, eating away at her nerves with a certain hesitancy as the reoccurring questions filter into her mind / will she be willing to admit she's wrong, or maybe sacrifice her own pride in order to save someone else's / Would she be willing to put her own ass on the line for the sake of another's safety / probably not— or so many think just as she does / to avoid any future confusion, she'll tell you, it would be best to find someone else to count on because more likely than not, she'll end up disappointing you / being good just..
isn't her thing, and so, why should she bother trying to be something she's not? )
( it's no secret that parks holds a weary disdain for nearly everyone / and like most people who's been unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of her sarcastic and mocking insults, they'll tell you she's a complete and utter bitch— aggressive, vulgar, and downright disrespectful. ill-mannered and highly opinionated, speaking with a limited filter towards figures of authority, common people, or even children, with colorful profanities and sharp wisecracks spilling from her lips like a dam that had just been breached, parks doesn't quite care what kind of prestige one may hold over her head, feeling as if she's untouchable, and anyone can catch the heat if they really want to challenge her / she doesn't believe in sugarcoating and, she has no problems telling you the nature of her intentions upfront / so, take it however you want / she doesn't discriminate, and it certainly won't bother her if one chooses to snap back with an equal amount of ferocity / in fact, she welcomes it with open arms, readily anticipating to see what kind of retorts would give her a good run for her money. )
( despite parks’ brash behavior and her barbed tongue which often got her in trouble or led to unnecessary conflict, and had also seemed to spoil her intellectual attributes; what many don't believe, is that parks is actually one hell of a perceptive individual, possessing a remarkable amount of intelligence when she actually puts in the effort of using her head instead of excessively running her mouth / her judgment of others is indeed incredible, and undeniably accurate; even if it only takes a mere second or two for an exchange of words, for parks to come to a verdict / she has quite the hunch or gut feeling, or whatever one may call it, with her acute senses and a meticulous gaze that slices through a person’s composition like a piece of thin paper / it’s best not to doubt or underestimate her capabilities, though she won’t complain if her observations are deliberately ignored as a result of her past behavior that doesn’t quite grace her as most reliable source to trust / she’ll let you figure it out yourself, but, keep in mind, she’d probably end up rubbing it in your face once you finally agree that she was, in fact, right all along )
( once being an incredibly reckless soul, impulsive and belligerent, starting fights whenever she could, parks' cantankerous behavior has died down a great deal as observed by most / she's mellowed out, chilling at the bottom of pecking scale, despite her previous attempts to climb to the top to make a name for herself / she doesn't mind, not in the slightest as she's actually pretty comfortable where she is / working hard was overrated, and it only proved to be useless whenever she did, so she decided taking some time to herself wasn't so bad; it wouldn't hurt to be selfish a little while longer / though she could now be considered lazy or a slacker, parks is indeed capable of achieving great heights, seeing if she wanted, she could very well excel in her talents over her peers, but her position at the bottom grants her a little more freedom than she once received, so she'll stick with it for the time being / plus, how could she complain when she abandoned her position on her own free will? that's right / she can't / she doesn't have the right, and she'll tell you she's only paying her time for doing the crime / it's the least she can do )
( one thing nobody can deny no matter how much parks may have changed, is that's she's still a complete asshole. she's crude in speech, recalcitrant, pessimistic, and perverse, clinging on to the nasty habit of teasing or criticizing her comrades as she's definitely not above throwing about insults whenever she feels need to put in her two cents. but, what others may fail to realize or understand, is that her cruel humor or vicious insults that make her appear insensitive are in reality, her methods of being kind; something that's easy to mask her true intents. parks doesn't expect anyone to question her incentives, therefore they make it simple for her to display such acts of consideration towards her comrades without blatantly coming out to state her reasons. she'll deny any accusations of being thoughtful of others if confronted, claiming that maybe she did it for the sake of that individual, maybe she did it for the interests of herself. who knows? her morals are constantly being left up for debate, and she wants to keep it that way, though if you if you take the time to dig deep enough, you'll find she's not at the person she makes herself out to be. )
( parks is arrogant as hell, bordering narcissistic with an overinflated ego that's about as big as the blistering sun, giving others the impression that she thinks more of herself than she actually is, but in a reality one is blind to, it's all an act— another one of her tactics used to deceive impressionable minds / truly, parks' thoughts on herself aren't actually all that high and considerably self-deprecating as she's known to call herself out on her own faults, claiming that she's well aware that she's the lowest of all scum or even a 'coward' who runs away from their problems when the going gets tough / she won't accept compliments or praises from others, seeing them as faulty or jokes created to spite her, simply brushing them off with a skeptical grin and the roll of her eyes / you don't have to lie to her, you know / she's fully aware that's she unbearable to be around, and she's alright with that / she's working to be a little less shitty. )
( what may be deemed as 'normal' interactions, that don't involve swearing or constant bantering, between her and another individual, are considerably awkward and quite often leave her perplexed to a certain degree when left to reflect, causing parks to rack her brain for ways to respond or even initiate a civil conversation / now, this doesn't make parks stupid; just a bit..
ignorant, if you will— very socially inept when she's not chewing someone out / being the sharp-tongued, sarcastic and brazen character she is, verbally expressing anything that comes to mind with little regards for the ones that are listening, so much, she doesn't seem to realize obvious behavior signals, pressing for her to stop— call it beating a dead horse / she doesn't know when to back off until someone forces her to, though she really doesn't mean
too much harm by it. )
