  yeah
  I mean, it's usually considered bad etiquette to ask for the threads to be deleted (actually, now that I think about it, I think there was only one case where they actually were deleted- most of the time, I think they're moved to the official roleplay board)
  and it's also considered to be in poor taste to ask for a board without warning anyone that's currently using it
  but still, it happens from time to time

  I mean, sometimes people have legitimately cool ideas that might do better if they had a board
  but it'd be nice if upcoming groups had to prove that they could last long enough via a series of linked threads before they could get a board
  just to limit the frequency of takeovers (because let me tell you, the probability of LithiumClan getting taken over before I can appeal my ban a second time is stressing me out like you wouldn't believe)
  and ensure that the few who do get to take over boards are legitimately deserving of a board spot, and won't just die off within two weeks

i've mentioned it before, i used to be an active roleplayer in a roleplay thread with a lot of people that went for over 1000 pages, i'm positive
i can't find the actual thread anymore, only posts
but we never got a board until xanje, even then that board is gone and so are the others
it sucks so hard

i hope lithiumclan will be alright though :(

  yeah, I've heard about things like that happening too
  though I remember not being able to find one thread that I was looking for even before the transfer
  so maybe that's been going on for a while
  still, it does suck

that whole transfer thing was stupid
if dynamo was the site coder then why would he waste all of that coding and time he spent on the old site, like what the fuck

  well, he claims that he would've had to shut Feralfront down had the transfer not been made, but I don't remember the reason he gave for why that was the case
  I mean, he mentioned that the old software was ridden with bugs, but I don't know why that would've forced FF to shut down had it continued

i honestly didn't see notice there being a lot of bugs on ff
