HMM well if you're talking about a material thing, definitely his cane. he can't go anywhere without it, it's a total crutch and he's very unwilling to ever put it down—it's usually always on his person, be that in use, at his hip, or connected to his wrist. not only does it help him maneuver, it's also a big memory of his parents whom he loves and it's a stress relief item considering he reads the braille on the handle compulsively if he's feeling nervous. so basically if he loses that he's pretty much screwed tbh

and then he teetered and aLMOST fell but then his mom caught him and they just laughed about it together and it was the happiest he saw his parents in a while so it had a lasting impression on him dhsksg

HE WOULD DEFINITELY BECOME NOT BLIND. as of currently even if he had the money and the technology he couldnt (it's been too long for his eyes to have any chance of working after a surgery) but if he'd had the money at the time he'd have totally gotten his sight fixed. he hates being blind and he's pretty much someone who refuses to accept it as ""part of him"" because it's NOT part of him. he was not born blind, we was born with a beautiful world that was ripped out of his hands in a single day and he loathes it
