My team's nicknames were Izanami (Primarina, reference to the female creation goddess of Japan, also a pun b/c 'nami' means wave), Mabel (Goodra), Diana (Lurantis, is shiny), Butters (Ribombee), Tickles (Palossand, also shiny) and Pluto (Mimikyu)

I tried to go for all new Pokemon but Goodra's my favourite so I had to pick her up <3

My pokemon's names are Viktor(Decidueye, Viktor Nikiforov because headcanon in a PokÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â©mon au he picked up a rowlet<33), Kiyoko(Type: Null), but my mewtwo, rayquaza, and greninja don't have names bc they aren't originally mine. Also idek if I could give greninja a name but his OT is Ash,,,, so who knows.

Tho my other PokÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â©mon I used for my main team were alolan ninetails bc one of my faves. Guanghong(My stoutland!! Named after Guanghong from yoi. I could've named a growlithe Guanghong but I didn't come across one so I went with the cutest PokÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â©mon aka lilipup), Yurio(my glaceon. Yet another yoi character), uhhhh and other things lmao forgot

The animation, imo, is rlly good! It is difficult to animate figure skating, you have to keep that in mind.

i've never really seen the purpose in sports anime - idk i sort of hate sports i wont lie. i've been thinking of watching yuri on ice but everytime i do i'm just like "eh"

what's the appeal of it in your guys opinion?

Imo its more than just about sports
partnof it is bc im a figure skater so i like that stuff but! It's about growing. overcoming mental illness (anxiety mostly, but? at least its something) and growing as amperson. Its also a rly cute love story!!

!!!! I want to do figure skating but all my family and friends laugh at the idea :c one of my friends who is a hockey player, I asked her if she could teach me, and she said "no you'll hate it and get bored of it after 2 minutes and end up falling and hating it" and my mom bACKED HER UP?!?!?!?!
