Noctis stared at him. He slowly moved over, looking at the fox creature. “Thank you.” He whisoered. It gave a faint nod and gently leapt onto the couch. It sat down, wathing the group. Noctis then looked Ignis over.

Ignis held out a hand and sniffed.

Noctis watched him. He slowly pulled the other into a hug. He let his eyes close. Gladio moved over, kissing Ignis’s Head.

Ignis hugged noct and grabbed gladio shirt after a moment.

Gladio wrapped an arm around Ignis, holding him gently. Noctis slowly pulled away after a while. The fox looked Noctis over. “You...Said you were a messenger of the gods.” Noctis said.

‘I am also a guardian of sorts. Specifically yours. Although...You seem unfamiliar to me. Have you forgotten?’ The Carbuncle asked, tilting its head a bit.

“...You’re my guardian?” Noctis asked. The fox flicked its ear.

‘Yes. And you have my apologies for not reaching out to you sooner. You must have lost the charm a long time ago so I couldn’t sense your presence.’ The Carbuncle said. ‘The king, your true father, gave you it when you were there. Ever since then I’ve been assigned as your guardian. But sicne you lost the charm I couldnt tracknyou down until now.’ The Carbuncle said

Noctis sighed. He looked over at Ignis and then at the creature. It looked over at Ignis. ‘Apologies. I suppose to you, Noctis, Ignis and Gladio are your real parents.” The Carbuncle said.
