me, slamming in like i know shit because i'm accident prone: alright, first step, it might not be sprained but it could be extremely overused or tender but you can't really tell with all the swelling at this point so the best thing is to take some pain medication (preferably ibuprofen because that pill doesn't focus on pain necessarily but is used to reduce swelling) and get some ice on in pronto, keep it elevated slightly because it'll help distribute the swelling in your wrist to your arm so it won't be all up in one place and making things even worse. !! wrap it in a washcloth or some kind of makeshift bandage, keep pressure on it.

I would but it’s snowing and I told my mom and she just said “put ice on it”. If I still feel this way I’m probably going to have her take me tomorrow cause she’s taking a half day
