omfg guys im laughing so hard right now
the classroom across the hallway apparently had a small fire in the room and since we had the door open we just heard the teacher yell "there's a fire" "fire?!" then yell across the hallway "there's a fire in my room!"
while everyone in my class just kind of sat here calmly, not really caring that there was a fucking fire in the other room omfl

we used to set all kinds of controlled fires in chemistry, we had this one assignment where we had to start the fire with different compounds or something, and it would turn the flame different colors like purple, green, blue.

Then we blew something up, I can't remember how, but the teacher brought in this big as portable blast shield and he put the thing that he was blowing up in the corner and covered it with the glass shield so we could all see lol.

update: there was so much smoke in the hallways that we all had to stand outside for twenty minutes
