John blinked, gently turning his hand to set his fingertips on Sherlock's wrist. He watched him.

he blinked, looking at john. on his wrists were some very old scars, some of them jagged from rope and handcuffs.

John didn't seem to notice the scars on Sherlock's wrists. At least not until he glanced down, spotting the faint scars on Sherlock's wrist. He then frowned, gently grabbing Sherlock's hand and turning it over. His eyes widened. "...Sherlock?" He asked quietly as he looked them over.

he didn't respond for a long while. "fuck." he mumbled softly.

He frowned, glancing up at him. "...What caused these?" He asked.

he hesitated. "do you remember.. the two years i was.. you know..?"
