It was around a day later when the group had reached the capital. They were let into the throne room, where Niflheim's king was. Ardyn glanced up at Ledolas, eyeing him. "Ah, your highness. Long time no see." Ardyn said. A group of imperial soldiers stood behind the group. Ardyn watched them before looking at Ledolas. "We are only here to talk, your highness. There's no need for all this." He said.

"I know you've gone to their side, Ardyn. I can never be too careful with the knowledge you hold." Ledolas said. Ardyn blinked.;

"We've come to ask for Gladiolus back." he's aid.

night scowled. "it's either that or i slaughtered your troops." he stated loudly and bluntly.

Ledolas stared at them. “That’s fine. Gladio means nothing to me.” Ledolas said. He blinekd. “In fact, none of you do. If you wish to have Gladio back, then so be it.” Ledolas said, wtsching him.

Ignis frowned. “Then bring him here.” Ignis hissed, taking a step forward, causing the soldiers to aim a gun at him. Ledolas raised a hand and the soldiers lowered their guns.
After a momemt, the door opened. They tossed Gladio in. Gladio took a moemmt before getting to his feet. Ardyn and Ignis looked over at them. Ardyn froze.

Half of Gladio’s body looked like it had black slime on it. He looked rather deformed and had a large horn growing out of the side of his head. His eyes were a yellow color. Ardyn narrowed his eyes.

“You turned him into a demon!?” Ignis asked, taking a step towards Gladio. Ledolas smirked.

“Figured he’d be useful in taking you down since I know you’re so against hurting your friends. Killing you know using Gladio should be easy.” He said. Gladio suddenly summoned his sword, charging at Noctis. Ignis suddenly summoned his daggers, throwing one at Gladio, causing it to lodge into his back. Gladio stopped, turning in Ignis quickly.

night growled and sliced q hand through the air, and watched as the guards in the fron doe got their throats slit. he then moved to gladio and knelt down. "tsk." he muttered and looked at ledolas. "you do not ruin my creations and live." he said and moved to him.

Ignis managed to pin Gladio down so he couldn’t move and attack the others. He narrowed his eyes. He glanced over. “Noctis are you okay?” Ignis asked.

Ardyn narrowed his eyes, moving over and then eyed Ledolas. “We were here to solve this peacefully, sir. I’m sorry it’s going to end like this.” He siad
