“Fine. But you’d better not try anything.” Gladio hissed. Ignis gave him a look.

“Enough Gladio.” Ignis said. He then glanced back at Noctis, setting a hand on his shoukder and kissing his cheek.

he blinked at the kiss and turned to kiss him gently.

It was around two months later. Noctis’s leg had healed up and they were all traveling together now. Gladio had come to warm up to Ardyn a bit. Ardyn has proved quite useful. He had a lot of knowledge that even Ignis didn’t know about.

However, they had gotten word of an underground fighting ring. They were traveling to it in an attempt to shut it down

noct looked at the intrance the the shut down subway station, blinking. he could hear cheering inside, people chanting the name 'night'. noct slowly opened the door, blinking as they came into a balcony. below he could see a huge dome like cage. inside said cage was two men, one huge looking guy with metal gloves, another very small man with a sword a shield. "welcome, ladies and gentlemen!" the announcer called, walking in front of the cage. "tonight we have night and the goliath up against each other! let us see who will win! come and place your bets now, and no changing half way through!" a few people went to place bets, and more than half voted goliath. the man smirked. "this is a fight to the death! good luck, boys!" he called and shot into the air.
the small male was quick and agile,and knew how to use his shield well. after a few punches, he was pinned to a wall. you could practically see his smirk, and suddenly he turned to a bundle of stars, reappearing behind the man, leaving a bright and scorching hit in his place. goliath screech in pain, and night jumped up, his sword slicing clean through his neck, and the head slowly sliding off. the crowd was in an uproar, cheering and hooting. "the reigning champion, the night!" the announcer called to the crowd.

The group stuck close to Noctis. Once inside, Ignis eyed the fighters, a look of disdain in his face. He always hated these things. Having people fight to the death and then betting on them. Ignis let out a small uncomfortable noise

the announcer explained the next fight would be ext week and to please leave, and people started to go through different exits. night sighed and slowly crawled from the cage, dropping his weapons. the man instantly started yelling at night, about how he he should have died in there and how night was costing him money. night flinched, looking down.

Ardyn narrowed his eyes, frowning. After a minute, he moved over to them. “Come now boys. There’s no need for violence. The fights are over.” Ardyn said

the man turned. "hey, i thought i told everyone to leave!" he snapped.

Ardyn smirked. “Oh, I heard. And I’m only here to prevent any more damage from

the man pulled a gun out, and aimed it at arden before a hand reached around and the sword slit his throat. the man collapsed, and night stared down at him, shaking.
