feeling a little bit like some kind of emo red riding hood as he took a few steps inside the old city, wondering if his other fellow directors were feeling like this, visiting each different group. the badlands were a wild card, evan knew that. and that didn't help the knot of anxiety in his stomach, or his realization he hadn't taken any weapons along with him.
oh well, if he died, at least he wouldn't be overheated anymore.
"hello?" gripping tighter to the basket to try and keep himself grounded to reality, evan's blue eyes wandered around the area. "uhh, gift basket? from some.. new neighbors." was that the right word for that? maybe. checking that the items were all still there in the basket (lots of dried fish, some berries and other foodstuff that he could find around the island, and a few craft items), evan shifted his weight from one side to the other, chewing on his lip nervously as he waited.
