He blinked, watching as Sherlock left. He noticed a few other students getting up and leaving as well. John packed his stuff before leaving as well. "Hey, John?" A voice asked. John stopped, looking over. He saw a young man, about John's age move over. "I heard what you said back there in class. I just wanted to say thank you. As you can see Sherlock isn't a well liked student here. So I'm happy to see you're not judging him." The male said.

"Of course not. I don't care what others say. Until I've interacted with the person I reserve my judgment of them." John said. The man sighed.

"That's good. I'm Greg Lestrade." The male said. John nodded.

"John Watson." He greeted

sherlock was soon in the library, sitting in a beanbag chair just inside the tea area inside the library.

Greg blinked. "Well, sorry to hold you up." He said. John shook his head.

"It's alright Greg." He said. He then moved away, moving off to his locker

he looked up when he saw his brother walk in, holding two cupcakes. "mycroft."

Mycroft glanced over. "Hey kiddo." Mycroft said. He moved over, setting a cupcake down. "I figured I'd better give you something since your birthday is today. I would get you something nice, but you know with dad gone and mom barely getting paid, I don't have the money for anything nice for you." Mycroft said.

he blinked and smiled slightly. "thank you, mycroft." he said and took one of them, starting to lick off the light blue icing.

He nodded. "You're welcome Sherlock." He murmured. He sat down opposite of Sherlock, eating the other cupcake. "So, who was this kid you were talking to in science? From what Lestrade said it sounded like he was sticking up for you." Mycroft said.

Mycroft scoffed a bit. "He's hardly my boyfriend, Sherlock, there is nothing wrong with having just friends in your life. It wouldn't hurt you any to go make a few either." Mycroft said.
