"richie tozier! he was trying to impress you because some kids were saying that he isn't good enough for you and that he was 'fat', which sent him on a weight loss frenzy! i told him instead of losing weight that he should work out and then he made it into an 'impress my boyfriend' thing!" she snapped. "he's having body issues, richie!"

He winced and said, eyes a bit wide, "Not good enough for me...? Fat..? That's all bullshit! He didn't have to do that..." He looked arund frantically before running a hand anxiously through his hair, saying quietly, "Oh God, I'm an idiot..."

He said, frowning at her with wide eyes, "What... what should I do? I don't want him to be upset..."

she frowned. "maybe actually compliment how nice he looks? or treat him like he's your queen? be his slave until he feels better? the list goes on."

He blushed a bit and said quietly, looking down and frowning, "Uhm, I guess I could do that, but he just went to class... God, I'm gonna feel awful about this all day..."

Stan spoke up first, making Richie huff, "Richie didn't notice how big or tall Eddie has gotten because he's a dumbass." Richie snapped, his face red, "Fuck off, Stan!
