Plot with the resident doctor & scientist?

Okay, so I thought it was time to make one of these, and get that kinda thing off my list? Ruben, if you don't know him yet, is my quirky doctor, who is fascinated by the mind & body, loves dissection, and still has his dead sister's corpse lying around somewhere hidden, because he can't let things go. I'm not going to go too far into his backstory, but he is badly burned as the result of a fire that killed his sister, and he has certain triggers because of it, with the sight of flames being an obvious one.

He's pretty much open to most things, with a decent plot, including threads to 'just see how it goes.' I'll probably put some ideas right below this.

• Someone finds visiting his sister's corpse that he was supposed to bury
  
• Ruby ends up getting drunk and spilling his backstory (OR/AND) he ends up getting really flirty
  
• General enemy things, because Ruby needs an enemy
  
• Someone ends up getting injured, so he's forced to spend more time with them
  
• Ruben catches someone stealing poppy seeds and/or catnip from his cabin oops
  
• Someone has a character that eventually recognizes Ruby from when he was young- Long story short, he was thought to be dead, and has a lot of explaining to do
  
• Oh * someone shows up because of that one night he had with a loner a long freaken time ago, and oops hi dad?? always with that classic or, maybe even he finds out that he's someone's half sibling because one of his parents cheated on the other (oh look another classic) basically, all past Ruben connections are A+

she would probably just go right ahead and try dealing with him herself (since heck she's aile)

Or maybe Ruby won't freaken stop it with his mouth and a fight happens before someone can come??

His sister is pretty much his only thing he will go bat crazy about right now tbh

that's such a good idea tbh, and aile tends to fight more with her limbs than her words once someone gets in her way.
so we can just say how it plays out.
