ok anyone play Town of Salem? Because I've got a little rant about some dumbasses in ranked
[spoiler=profanityyy kinda]ok so I was playing a ranked game and I got blackmailer, so I hatch this plan that I won't bm anyone so that they'll not know there's a bmer. I tell my maf I have a plan but not the exacts in case there's spy, which I am pretending to be. Everything's going well, no one is doubting I'm spy and people start saying random mafia is disguiser which I confirm bc spy sees who maf visits. BUT THEN THE MAFIOSO IS PUT ON THE STAND AND SAYS HE'S BLACKMAILED. Someone asked if anyone else was bmed and gf says they were. Immediately town is like "well there's the mafia" but still trust me. Mafioso gets lynched and I tell gf my plan. Next day I'm pretty much publicly confirmed as spy and gf is put on the stand. Everyone votes guilty including myself bc I'm trying to be a townie and voting inno on obvious gf is dumb as hell. I'm confirmed. Town trusts me. I'm competent unlike the rest of the mafia. I can still win this even if it's a stretch. Gf's last words are "Cosmo mafia" or to that affect. They gamethrew. And vig shot me that night. We lost bc gf was...
ok so maybe the spoiler should be for unsaid profanity but I feel very strongly about that godfather and I'm holding back some s**t
so needless to say I reported gf for gamethrowing and am extremely salty[/spoiler]

[spoiler=crash course on relevant roles and how it works]Blackmailer (bmer) is a mafia role that prevents people from talking during the day. They can read whispers as well
mafioso and gf(godfather) are the mafia's killing roles, gf being the leader and mafioso being the one that does the dirty work
spy is a town role that can see what maf says, who they visit and can hear whispers
Whispers are like private messages,,, sorta
vig is vigilante, another town role. They can shoot people.
town are the good guys and have a wider variety of roles and more people but don't know who the others are, mafia are the bad guys and have a smaller team that can talk at night and kill people. People can die during the day by getting voted up and lynched
