hehummed and thought a moment before dropping the stick and ducking under it, right into the males arms, and hugging him.

[peridot.]

Richie flinched back a bit, expecting the other to whack him again, but suddenly he was being hugged. He froze up, eyes widening a bit and his heart beating a bit too fast. His face flushed, and he fell silent, slowly moving to wrap his arms around the other, feeling flustered. He was effectively shut up.

[dannychan]

he smiled slightly. "see? it worked." he said before noticing his heart rate. "why is your heart beating so fast?"

[peridot.]

His heart only beat so much faster as the other asked this, and he felt like it was going to explode. He blushed and looked to the side, mumbling softly, "I'm just... no particular reason."

[dannychan]

he blinked, looking at him and moving away to get a better look. "why are you blushing?"

[peridot.]

He felt flustered, and his thoughts were racing, the most prominent of them being, he's gonna hate you if he thinks you're a f*g. He swallowed and mumbled, covering his face with one hand, "You're just still really warm, that's all."

[dannychan]

he stared at him before hearing the bus come up beside them. "we're gonna talk about that later and you're gonna tell me the truth." he said and led him onto the bus. he payed for both of them and turned to the isle, only to freeze. near the back of the bus (where there were the only empty seats) was a little girl holding a red balloon, and a red clown nose. he made a horrified noise. "no. nononono." he whimpered.

Richie made a soft noise at Eddie's words, but he nodded, taking a deep breath. He followed after the other and then paused when the other started panicking, and he glanced ahead, a frown coming to his face almost instantly. He reached up to cover up the other's eyes and hold one of his hands, leading him to a couple of empty seats. He glared viciously at anyone who looked at them funny, and once they were sitting, he whispered softly, touching the other's face, "You're okay, Eddie. It's just a little girl. Focus on me, okay?"

eddie didn't even look at him, trying to hide his face anywhere he could. "no no no.." he whimpered.

"I don't know, but physical pain is not the answer!" He said, still hopping a little bit and pouting at the other teasingly.
