Richie blinked and smiled, saying quietly as he finished off his cone, "And yet you still hang around with all of us."

he continued with his ice cream, glancing around. he stared out the window after a moment and blinked.

He hummed softly and after a moment, he put his hand back on Eddie's side, just out of neccessity. Bev spoke up, glancing outside and sighing, "You guys all ready for school to start picking up again? We're almost at the end of the starting weeks."

he shook his head. "not at all." he sighed.

Richie mumbled quietly, gently dragging his thumb over the other's side subconciously as he spoke, "I keep getting As and Bs anyways, so I guess I'm ready." Bill said, frowning a little as he looked at Eddie, "I-I don't think I a-am either. Ater everything with G-Georgie I'm still n-n-not really ready for studying."

Georgie is his little brother who got murdered although I guess you know that now

he blinked. "i just.. don't want to go to school after.. everything.."

"Well, we can't constantly be afraid to go anywhere. That things dead, remember?" Richie asked, frowning and gently squeezing Eddie's side.

he frowned. "i still don't.."

"It's alright, we all know you're his favorite too." Stan said, still smirking with a mischievous glint in his eyes. Richie gave a soft huff and gently pulled his hand away from Eddie's side, biting into his cone and mumbling, "Whatever, maybe it's just because all of ya are assholes, and he can't think of a comeback for the life of him."
