He frowned. "It doesn't seem like it." He said. Noctis watched them.

"...After all this is over...Once we take back Insomnia and stop Ardyn, are you three going to be alright?" Noctis asked. Gladio glanced at Noctis.

"Of course we are, Noct. But what's with this question? We'll be helping with the rebuilding of insomnia and helping you become a king. What makes you think thats going to change?" Gladio asked. Noctis looked away.

"Because it is. After that...Things are going to change." Noct said.

Ignis frowned. "of course things will change. we'll have been to war."

He sighed. "No that's..." he trailed off. Gladio frowned.

"Noctis, what arent you telling us?" Gladio asked. Noctis was silent for a momemt.

"After fighting Leviathan...Remember how I was in that coma for a week?" Noctis asked. Gladio nodded.

he scowled. "yes.." he mumbled, looking over him.

He blinekd. "During that time...I had a few dreams. Or visions. Whatever you want to call them. But I found out what I have to do. My father entrusted me with this power. I have to take down Ardyn. But in the end...I'll have to give my life to do so. I've come to terms with it. But I need to make sure you three will be alright." Noctis said.

Gladio stared at him, frowning a bit.

Ignis scowled. "you not doing it alone, so you can take that vision.. and shove it in ardyns ass so far that it literally comes out of his mouth." he said.

He glanced at Ignis. Gladio frowned, looking down. "Iggy...While I don't agree, some things are just meant to be. We made a promise to the king. We weren't to change his fate or take over his life. All we are supposed to do is just help him along his travels and create his own path. If this is what he's supposed to do, all we can do is make sure nobody interferes or harms Noctis until he can fulfill his destiny." Gladio said

he scowled, before smacking gladio in the back of the head, scowling. "well i'm not going to stand by and watch the kid i practically raised get obliterated."

Noctis glanced down. "Ignis...It's going to be alright." Noct said, watching the older male. He knew it was hard on Ignis. Hell, Ignis was pretty much Noct's only guardian. He barely saw his real father and his mother died when he was only six months old. Ignis really was the only one around. He could understand how this would be hard for him.

Gladio flinched, but fell silent. He knew better then to argue with Ignis. The guy was actually pretty damn scary when angered.

he moved over and set a hand on nichts shoulder, using the other to tilt his head up. "you are going to be fine. i'm not going to let you die, prompto won't either, and gladio won't either." he threw a glare to the side at the larger male.
