Minerva Rue Hiyatori is a 23 year old high school student who lives in Domino City, Japan. She has a fluffy gray tabby cat named Molody who she loves with all her heart. She was born into a wealthy family. Her father is the CEO of an electronics and gaming company, while her mother happens to be an actress. Her grandmother is a retired classical pianist and she teaches people to play piano in her free time.

Growing up Minerva lived in a rather large mansion with her parents and her grandmother. Both of her parents were very strict and often kept young Minerva closed off from the world. As a child, she was home schooled and taught by the best tutors money could buy. When she was little her parents made her learn about many other things outside of her tyical classes. They wanted her to be a star in everyway. Some of these things include - Paintng, piano, soccer, karate, dancing, baking, and computers.

Her parents were often away on business, so growing up, Minerva spent most of her time with her grandmother, the many cats they owned, and any staff on hand. Despite the fact that her parents were gone constantly, they always tried to be home for holidays and birthdays. If they couldn't be home, they always made sure to at least call her or skye call her so they could at least talk on those days.

In her teen years, Minerva was a bit more Rebllious and she would often sneak out of the house - much to her parents chargrin. She usually snuck out to go meet up with what little friends she had or go to parties. On rare occasions she may have even met up with a boyfriend or two that she had at the time. Her parents didn't know about any of the past lovers she's had though - because they had a strick no dating policy when she was a teen.

Nowadays Minerva is a college student. Her parents wanted her to go to somewhere fancy like Harvard or MIT, but instead she choose to go to Domino City College - simply because she wanted to be closer to her family. She's studying multiple fields of work - as she's uncertain what she wants to do with her life. Her father also expects her to run his company someday, as she's his only child, but the girl thinks that running a company isn't her cup of tea. She's tried to explain to him that she doesn't want to do it, but he won't listen to her.

june is a 23 year old country girl from indiana who loves animals and gardening. since her mother can't work, she has to work two jobs to help keep the family afloat. she's a waitress and she works at the local library. every weekend in the summer she also goes to the local farmer's market and sells goods to also help her family bring in money.

growing up, june lived on a rather large farm in the middle of nowhere in indiana. this farm had been in the family for generations. when june was 15, her father got arrested for grand theft auto - among other things. due to this, june had to grow up much quicker than most kids her age and she had to help her mother out more on the farm. when she was 16 she dropped out of high school and went to the local adult education center to get her ged.

not only does she help out on the farm, but she also helps her mother to take care of her younger siblings. juniper has five brothers and sisters plus two younger cousins living at home with her and her mother. over a year ago her mother was diagnosed with leukemia so june now has to do most of the work around the farm - with the help of her siblings and cousins.

juniper's family conists of: allison matthews her mama and kyle matthews her daddy. maraylynn matthews is her 17 year old sister. darryl elliot her is 16 year old cousin. kole matthews is her 14 year old brother. callie matthews is her 11 year old sister. toby matthews is her 8 year old brother. paige matthews is her 8 year old sister. addison elliot is her 5 year old cousin.

billie atom hastings is a 25 year old ex mental patient. having recently been released from long view mental hospital, the young woman is struggling to cope with living a normal life. weekly she goes and visits a phsychologist as well as a probation officer.

growing up, billie had been a troubled child. from a young age she started showing signs of mental illness, but at the time nobody knew that it was actually mental illness. they all just assumed that it was all just a faze that she'd grow out of. which, she never did.

when she was young she was taken away from her parents, because they were proved to be unfit parents and her aunt & uncle took her in. she still showed signs of mental illness and often acted out. however, her auntie and uncle didn't think much of it. her uncle eventually got tired of her acting out though, and for a few summers he sent her away to military camp. this didn't do much to help though, and every summer she came back from camp, she seemed a bit worse. her aunt, did not like the idea of billie going to this military camp over the summers and fights would often erupt out between her and billie's uncle. because of this, they eventually got divorced when billie was fourteen and she was never sent to another military summer camp again.

in high school, one day she had a mental break down and attacked one of her classmates with a pair of scissors. one of her teachers interviened, trying to stop her, but got hurt in the process. once she realized what she'd done, she ran off taking the scissors with her. nobody was severely injured, but her freak out moment was bad enough that the police had to be called and the school went on lockdown. because she attempted to hurt people she was arrested, but she did not go to prison. instead, she was institutionalized and would stay there for the next seven - eight years years. she actually got her sentence reduced due to good behavior.

billie has paranoia, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. she also deals with depression on and off due to these illnesses.

billie's parents are hayley and jeremiah hastings. her aunt is lila abernathy.
