It had been ten years since Kiryu had gotten himself thrown into jail. Of course, Majima knew that Kiryu was innocent. He was just standing up for his sworn brother. He didn't see why. That man had changed and became a major prick. Everyone knew it would have been better off for Nishiki to be thrown in jail instead of Kiryu, but sadly that didn't happen.

Word is, Kiryu was back in Kamarucho. Only two days back and he was already in the shitter again. The third chairman of the Dojima family had been murdered only yesterday and now Kazama had been shot. Majima knew it was Nishiki behind the whole thing. But the bastard had set it up to blame Kiryu.

Majima was currently walking around town, a bat slung over his shoulder as per usual. He stopped however when he spotted a man. He looked familiar. He smiled a bit when he realized who it was. "Kazzy-chan! You bastard, leaving town for ten years and not even stopping and greeting an old friend when coming back." Majima said, moving over to him.

kiryu looked up, holding two bags over his shoulder. they were both filled with ramen cups, as they were cheap. he blinked when he heard the familiar call and frowned. "i didn't feel like seeing anyone.9

Majima smiled. "Oh don't worry. I can forgive you this time." He said. He looked him over. "Gotta say I'm disappointed though. You've really grown soft in those ten years in a cell. Almost makes me a tad bit upset to see you looking so weak." Majima said. He smiled. "Well, I'll tell you want. I'll keep an eye on you 24/7. Think ofmeas your personal training coach on getting back into shape." Majima said

he scowled at him, looking him up and down. kiryu honestly just looked exhausted. both physically and mentally. "no thanks" he said and kept walking.

Majima watched the other wander off. "Right...Well, it's not like you have a choice, Kiryu. It's best to have allies now. Especially with your current problem. You don't really have any friends left in this city." Majima said, watching him walk off.

he tightened his grip on the bags, scowling. "you think i don't know that?" he muttered, continuing on. he just wanted to get to his apartment as quickly as he could.

He watched him. "Oh, I know you do. But it's important that you don't forget that. People here want to kill you. Friends who you once had are turning on you. But, I like you. So I'll be there to save your ass if I have to. So don't start losing your temper at me, Kazzy." He said.

he didn't reply, just kept walking. he didn't want to talk. he didn't even want to be back here. hell, he didn't even really want to be alive right now. he let out a breath, walking quickly to his apartment.

He watched him silently. He frowned a bit. He turned, about to move off when he spotted a small group of yakuza heading towards him. He eyed them. "What's with the party, boys? Surely you don't need a group this large for a simple money collection." He said. One of them frowned.

"Step aside. We're here for Kiryu, not you. We had reports that he was living here." The man said. Majima shifted his arm a bit, gripping the bat.

"So what if he is? Need I remind you this isn't Dojima territory?" He asked. "You're in Tojo clan territory. So, you're on my turf now. I'll give you one chance to turn and leave or we can have some fun." Majima said.

after a moment, he walked into his dumpy little apartment, sighing. he moved to set things down, and make himself some ramen.
