he gave a half hearted little closed smile, making a soft noise. "i'd love to believe that would work for me, but it's not. you're the fun and sweet teacher.. in the new teacher who can't even get a spell right."

[peridot.]

He said, smiling a little bit sympathetically at the other, "Listen, Henry, you'll get the hang of things eventually. Even I was nervous when I first got my job here, and things worked out fine. And it has for every other teacher too. You'll figure out your way of teaching soon enough."

[dannychan]

he sighed, taking out his wand and twirling it between his fingers quickly.. which was a trademark move of none other than grell sutcliff. he looked at him. "you really think so?"

[peridot.]

He blinked and glanced down at Henry's fingers, seeming to stiffened slightly. Fai was an eternal optimist, and sometimes a bit scatterbrained, but he was by no means stupid. Biting his lip, he nodded a little bit and mumbled, more softly this time, "Yes, I do think so. You'll figure things out."

[dannychan]

realising what he was doing, he caught his wand, looking over it. "i hate this wand.." he sighed.

[peridot.]

He blinked and took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down as he said quietly, "Really? Then why do you still have it?"

[dannychan]

he hummed. "can't afford another one yet. my last one snapped, and i've had it since my first year." he said, looking over it for a moment. "this one is ugly."

[peridot.]

He blinked and nodded a little bit, saying quietly, "Ah, well, hopefully you can get a new one soon.
I've had mine for a long while now."

[dannychan]

he hesitated. "but.. what if they hate me for it?" he asked., setting the little tin box on the coulter. the tips of his hair were slowly starting to fade to red, and flicked his head away so his hair would fall were he couldn't see.

[peridot.]

"Then you might just have to deal with it. But I'm sure they won't hate you! Kids need discipline,
Henry. I take and give points away when I need to, and my students don't hate me." He said with a little hum, glancing at the small tin and then at Henry.
