No, he was very much not ok. He could be worse, but only if Jack had discovered his binder. Shy of that, this was the least ok he could be. "Can't say I am." He tried not to direct his anger to Daesung, but he couldn't help but seethe as he said the words. At least Johannes was there.
"Yeah, I fucking took his bullets. Why? Because he was gonna shoot Reaper and he could have shot me and Daesung when he dropped his gun." He gestured to her - she'd been at Reaper's joining, so she could attest. He'd seemed ready to fire, and if the gun had discharged when he dropped it, someone could have gotten hurt. "I said he could have it back later, and his response was to break into my room and go through everything I have." He leveled a glare at Soldier.

That day was where Jack treaded the line between staying a resident at the lodge or being exiled. Though, she had to look at it at the former soldier's perspective as well. He was an old war hero, probably stricken with the trauma he endured, trying to protect himself. But, she couldn't excuse that behavior. Briefly, she glanced toward Johannes, seeing as she had no real authority and couldn't give out consequences. "Well, Gray does have a point. At that moment, Jack was a danger to everyone and that's not acceptable. Though, stealing isn't a good thing, either. Neither is invading the privacy of another lodger," she pointed out, chewing on the inside of her cheek.

Johannes was glad to just listen. First of all--he'd been on the business end of Jack's gun. When Jack had come to their home. That wasn't fun. He knew that Daesung would ask for his...opinion, at some point. He didn't begrudge her, but damn he didn't want to deal with this. Still--he thought he might have an idea.
"If it's never loaded, then stealing the bullets doesn't have nearly as much of an effect." He mumbled, though not really sure he wanted that to be part of his...verdict. Was that what he was giving? A verdict?
Glancing between the two, he gave a bit of a shrug. "We don't aim guns at strangers. First off. We do not threaten them. You--you're gonna have to--get used to that, if--if you stay here. " He glanced at Gray. "This--would have been avoided if you'd just--told someone. Instead of stealing." He looked almost..well, tense. Trying to act with any sort of discipline, with authority--it didn't come naturally to him. He didn't want either of them to be angry. "You--I think stealing--kind of..opens up to...that." He hated saying that. Gray's privacy was, well...important. Johannes would be furious if anyone went into his room, just at the thought of them breathing that air or touching his things. "But--Jack, you can't do that. not here. "

Whatever Jack's logic was, it wasn't right. Could the war and later isolation twisted his way of thinking? It was he only coherent explanation. Her lips parted to speak, but Johannes beat her to it, in which she clicked her mouth shut. She gave a nod as if to put emphasis to the Dictator's words, lifting her arm up so her thumb brushed against her top and bottom lips. "We'll make sure not to call you if something does happen, then," She spoke in a bit of a cheerful tone, but her words were serious. If he wished to be that way, then she wouldn't argue. "Both of you should apologize to each other. If you don't, then that's fine. You won't be setting a great example for anyone, though, now would you?" A pointed stare was directed toward Jack at this, considering he was the adult in the situation. Was this something he wanted to imprint on the younger generation? Using violence and taking things by force to solve your problems? Yeah, certainly Dad of the Year.

"Safety's the first fucking thing that fails." Gray muttered under his breath, glancing away from the others, unable to believe what he was hearing. They were treating these like nearly equal offenses! "Was Reaper a threat, Jack? Because you sure got all buddy buddy with him after pointing your gun at him."
He turned to Johannes, eyes hard. "Really? I just had to tell someone? Like Dae? She could have done something, but didn't. Like you? You never do anything." He scoffed. Now Daesung wanted him to apologize to Jack? As fucking if. "I'd apologize if I had something to be sorry for." He was acting like a child, yes, but that's what he was. He was still a kid, and he couldn't always act like an adult.

Jack's words seemed like...a threat. Johannes didn't understand--he'd accepted what the man had told him. Still, his tone made the dictator worry. He glanced at Dae, not sure she had quite the right idea--well, an apology would settle this. But from what he knew of both of them, that was not happening. And besides--Gray stealing bullets wasn't necessarily the same as Jack waving his gun around. He probably would have tried to...say something, but Gray's words held him in place and he just. He opened his mouth, about to retort--but what the hell would he retort with?
All he knew was he couldn't stay quiet. He had to say something. If he didn't--whatever came next from Gray would surely be worse. That's how it tended to work. Staying silent--was never good. Even if he had a bit of trouble breaking it. "I--Gray--I'd--" He stopped. He wasn't going to convince the kid he was going to help him right now, right here. "I don't care if you apologize--" He paused, glancing at Dae and looking mildly apologetic. "What I want is for Jack to stay out of your room. And--you to give them back, but--you said you would have." He paused. "So. That's not really...I mean, stealing's not--it's not good, but, um--I mean, we should have handled anything like--dangerous. Gun use. Ourselves, but as it is--that's...solved? So. Just--don't trespass in people's rooms. Period."
