Sam went back outside, glancing ahead. Cas glanced up and frowned. "Sam? What's wrong?" He asked. Sam kept his gaze ahead.

"Nothing, Cas. Don't worry about it."'he said. Castiel watched him, tilting his head slightly.

It was a few hours later. Castiel had moved inside the bunker to check up on Dean. He moved into the room, blinking. "Dean? You okay in here?" He asked

dean was laying on the bed, staring at the ceiling blankly.

He sighed. He moved over, gently sitting down beside him. He glanced ahead. "Sam told
Me what you made him promise you. I hate it. But I know your brothers safety is the most important thing to you. You know when it comes to it, he's not going to run like you want him to. He's going to stay and fight for you. But...I promise you, I will take him away if we know the situation is helpless." He said

he blinked and looked at him,slowly sitting up. "what..? sorry i was having a staring episode.."

Cas glanced at him. "That's alright Dean." He said. He rested a hand on his shoukder. "I'm going to protect your brother no matter what. You don't have to worry about him." He said

he nodded and smiled softly. "thank you cas." he stood and pat his shoulder, looking over him.
