For Briar, while Anya will never be able to replace her real mother, Anya is still her Mommy. Briar will value Anya's opinions. Like if Anya insist that Briar is worth something, where she usually doesn't like that, Briar would be inclined to believe her.

bailey is pretty much the main reason that anya-rae ever worries about anything. she's already freaked about his sickle cell anemia, so his starting fights for no goddamn reason just makes it worse. she loves him, she does, but she's constantly 1.5 seconds away from smacking him upside the head because this boy just can't chill?? like all his siblings are calm (relatively) and know how to stay in their lanes but he just,, doesn't?? and it exasperates her so much, especially when he comes home at like 2 in the morning with bruises and a black eye that she and lily have to bandage up.
even with all that, she still loves him a lot, and it's super evident in how hard she tried to set him up with people after lilas died. maybe she set him up with chassidy/whoever he's dating now?

lily has been with anya-rae the longest (i'm assuming) so they definitely have a stronger relationship than anyone else because she's raised him since he was three. she's honestly just super proud of him for being such a helpful person but she for sure worries that maybe he's a little too friendly and just needs to stand up for himself every now and then. she's probably tried to hook him up with someone ("lily, baby, the cashier at trader joe's was totally your type, so i got his number for you") and i can definitely see the two of them chatting over a cup of coffee on the living room sofa in the morning before everyone else wakes up.

briar honestly made anya-rae so nervous because up until she came to live with her, she had just raised boys and was like 80% sure was going to do something wrong with briar but it actually went really well. briar's ocd and her oral fixation weren't hard for her to accommodate to — she's fine with her triple-checking everything unless it gets to be harmful, and she's always got candy in her purse for briar to chew and suck on. anya-rae for sure goes out of her way to try to raise briar's self-confidence because honestly all she wants is for briar to love herself the same way that she loves her. 

christopher reminds anya-rae a lot of lily, but with lily it's more like she's sure she can get it on his own, but she thinks of christopher as more of the baby to be protected because there is no way she's gonna let the world crush her little disney prince. she definitely rolled up on his last boyfriend and scared him shitless for being an asshole to chris, and i can honestly see these two (and the rest of the gang, tbh) curling up on the sofa and watching a disney movie together because the visuals on this would be amazing.

Christopher absolutely adores Anya-Rae. He will actually introduce her to people as "your highness" because she's like a queen to him. He def likes to get her gifts whenever he can; if he sees something in a store that reminds him of her he gets it. He once saw a cute crown and got her it lmao. But yes def watching Disney movies would be adorable bc he's trying not to sing along and ruin the movie so instead he hums and bobs his head. Tho there'll be some times where he will sing along; he can't help himself

Whoops! That might make their relationship a little closer too, since Briar is her only girl. Like they would have Mommy/Daughter days where they go shopping or run errands or something. Not sure how Briar's going to handle having nothing but brothers. Especially since Bailey is always getting in trouble. Though I can see Briar going up to Bailey and just being like, "You know you're only causing momma unnecessary trouble, right?". Though I can see Briar's reaction to mirrors being a little trouble for Anya.
