 he was born in malalos (the philippines) to a prostitute and a biological father that, at the time, was unknown. he was adopted by a lesbian couple and was raised in gotham, new york
[spoiler=full history, trigger warning: sexual abuse, kidnapping, murder mention, violence]• Jason was born in Malalos, Philippines on April 28th, 1991 to a prostitute for a mother and no father. She, knowing she couldn't take care of him, left Jason on the doorstep of an orphanage in hope that he'd find a better life with someone other than her
• Luckily, her wishes came true. On May 14th, 1992, newly weds Nadia and Kathryn Crimson-Todd took a visit to the Philippines, in hope of finding a child to take home with them. After scouring orphanages all around the country, they landed in Malalos and found this little boy with puppy dog eyes and scars on his knees and they took him home.
• On August 4th, 1994, Nadia lost her high-paying job and the Goldman-Sachs Bank and the family lost practically everything. 4-year-old Jason didn't have any idea what that meant at the time, but he soon found out when they moved from their penthouse apartment into a much smaller one more towards the heart of Blüdhaven.
• Throughout the years following, Jason attended the same elementary school that his mother, Kathryn taught second grade. It was extremely hard to make friends for Jason, most of the kids making fun of his mothers, his racial background, his scrawny figure. Anything they could poke at, they did.
• During those elementary school years, Jason quickly learned how to manipulate his appearance and his words to get what he wanted from strangers. Unfortunately, that lead to the most tragic event of Jason's life
• On October 14th, 2002, 11-year-old Jason walked up to a man, thinking he would con him out of whatever was in his wallet for the day, and ended up getting kidnapped. Garret Shanon happened to be his name and he had kidnapped and murdered 4 boys pervious to Jason. He kept Jason in a 3 foot by 3 foot by 4 foot cage, regularly verbally, physically and sexually abused him and neglected to give him any food or water the entire time he was holding him captive. A parent's worst nightmare
• On October 17th, 2002, Blüdhaven Police Department raided the home of Garrett Shanon and discovered Jason hidden in a make-shift torture chamber in Shanon's basement. Shanon was apprehended hours later at his place of work, a boring cubicle job. He was sentenced to death and was executed later on July 19th, 2004 by the state of New Jersey
• Though Jason was rescued, the damage was done. Through out the years following, Jason had horrible night terrors, separation anxiety and intense auditory and visual hallucinations. Kathryn and Nadia thought it best that he skipped out on 6th grade and homeschooled him for the remainder of that grade
• Jason re-entered public schools half way through 7th grade. The teachers knew of his horrific past, but the students didn't unless he told them or they watched the news (which most of them didn't) so he had a slightly easier time making friends
• Jason's PTSD continued all through out middle and high school
• When Jason was eighteen he made the decision to join the military. He had this hunger for for vengeance that he could never satisfy, since his captor had already been executed. He figured knocking some heads in Afghanistan was the best way he could do that.
• On June 29th, 2010, Jason completed his military training and was deployed into Afghanistan. He was stationed all through out the war-ridden country until the end of the war, two years later
• After returning from Afghanistan, Jason couldn't bring himself to return home. He was a bit lost, in general and didn't feel worthy of returning to his mother's open arms. He ended up drifting around major cities in America and ended up accidentally meeting Arachne at a diner in Las Vegas, who recognized his striking features as the long lost son of Hades.
• She, naturally, attacked Jason. When forced to defend himself, he ended up defeating the spider mother, who told him all about his dad.
• Jason forced Arachne to take him into the underworld where he met the man he now knows as his father. The rest is history.[/spoiler]
 jason's biological father ended up being pretty much his worst nightmare, the dark lord hades. yeah he's got some problems
