but guys i've officially had the worst manicure ever , ,, i went in about three weeks ago for acrylics and the manager yelled at my mom because she thought there was fungus on her nail but i didnt think too much about it. they also really overdrilled on my nails and my right hand hurt for a week afterwards
but for the past week my nails have been peeling. and they're acrylics!! i tried taking them off tonight because they were going to come off and my nails are paper thin and i could only get three off before the acrylic started taking off my actual nail with it

Aww, babe, I'm so sorry, that sounds really painful! I agree with Leo, look around for other places. I know that some places are cheap which is good, but it's better to pay more for acrylics that are good and will last longer. Or, you can look for coupons if money is an issue.

the thing is, the nail salon my mom and i would always go to recently closed down and we've been trying out new places. there's plenty in our area and money isn't an issue, but previous ones that we've gone to haven't been any better. i'm probably gonna have to start doing them from home once they're stronger

i still need to remove seven more nails but i'm too scared since my nail is literally coming off ,, idk when my mom and i are gonna go to this new place she found but i'm hella nervous

try soaking them in acetone for like twenty minutes and they'll turn to mush and you can just scrape them off? I despise taking off my nails but that works the best. your nails woukd still be thin but it wouldn't rip chunks off.
