he hummed and nodded. "do you have homework too?"

[peridot.]

"Yeah, but I can do later tonight." He said, giving his Father a slightly weak smile. He had been keeping it a secret that he hadn't been sleeping very well lately, mainly due to nightmares.

[dannychan]

he rose an eyebrow. "no. you know the rules. good your homework. see if eddie needs help."

[peridot.]

He blinked at his Father and pouted a bit, but knew there was really no point in arguing. He sighed and nodded, moving to head toward his and Eddie's room, his footsteps soft as he slipped inside.

[dannychan]

eddie had his stuff spread out in front of him, scribbling on a paper quickly.

[peridot.]

Blinking, he walked in and grabbed some of his books, saying softly, "Hey, Eds." He went to sit a bit aways from the other on the bed, books piled on his lap.

[dannychan]

he blinked and smiled. "hey, babe." he said softly.

[peridot.]

He smiled back and said quietly as he began to open some of his textbooks to his bookmarked pages, "Big Dad said I had to come and do my homework. And, uhm, see if you needed any help with yours."

[dannychan]

he leaned to kiss him and hummed. "i'm good." he said softly and hummed. "you know i'm not mad, right?"

He blinked and nodded, sighing and smiling weakly, "Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do. He's doing his homework right now, but afterwards I'm gonna ask how I can make it up to him..."
