[justify]analytical, because the charming ones always are. he doesn't offer smiles like candy but like a phone number, on a slip of paper slid over the table, scrawled in grubby dying marker on the soft flesh of your arm, every inch coy and every mile a monster. secretive, because the beguiling ones always are. he doesn't do well with those that are too honest; it's games he has a penchant for, and he has a doctorate for stringing people by the nose but there's no satisfaction on it. smart, because that's what no one thinks the frivolous ones are. you can't imagine a whole world filled with this type of person. maybe they'd all get caught up in one-upping one another, or maybe the entire human race would die out because none of them could stand breathing the same air as each other, or maybe you wouldn't be able to turn any corner because they know themselves so intensely that to dig into the psyche is like self-flagellation, and to know each other is just like looking into a mirror. but the world is filled with people like this. not exactly like this; not always with the charm, the patience, the acute awareness of being evaluated, all the time, but something like this. just the wrong amount of ugly, the obscene amount of beautiful, haphazard wit, whatever you can call the self-reflexive satisfaction of generating sparks in other people. laughter, insult. people are so often one and the same, and yet we're always so hard to understand. he doesn't understand that, but he doesn't pretend to. people try to understand him instead, and he pulls them in with long leisurely tugs of the rope that looks to them like a fine slice of acceptance he hasn't given anyone else before.[/justify]

⇢ not easily fazed/disgusted by bad smells (sometimes it's just Bad, like ivy), or awful living conditions; gore beyond the spillage of blood, he has a harder time stomaching

⇢ quick to rise to provocation, scarcely truly angered; this is, in some parts, a product of never liking to disappoint, rising to the occasion when someone initiates a pointless yelling contest just because he's here to Win

⇢ almost no academic knowledge whatsoever; he's KINDA DUMB like that but also bc most of his knowledge is in practical aspects. very good with his hands, skilled at reading situations, also he can't do 1+4 don't make him

⇢ survival instincts rusty from not being in any real danger for... years - an alarming fact to him on both accounts

⇢ admires real talent; will stand and watch someone at a corner, doing their thing, and slips generous donations
⇢ doesn't rely on favours, or exchanges, or any kind of debt. the 'grudges' he holds are the knowledge that if someone does a shitty thing, they're probably going to do it again, and he's just ready 4 that. he does things for others - albeit Rarely - without expecting return
