introduction : basically valemis is just a dignified rich kid who thinks nothing about his upbringing (he's not exactly proud of it, but also isn't quite ashamed? until it comes to comparing his living conditions with others at least, but giving them pity does seem to be kind of an insult when they're theoretically doing Just Fine......... really he's just ambivalent towards it!) and is really very curious abt the way the world works outside that ol Rich Bubble b/c the way he's been raised, he knows... quite little abt interactions with others, and almost nothing about most practical things besides. he'll always do his best because he genuinely does want to get along with others and do his part, but he's like a baby elephant. he just doesn't know his strength?? this is a rly awful introduction. he doesn't say a lot and it's almost creepy the way he lingers ard places and watches over ppl but he really is........ well-meaning ...

im really not doing a good job at making him not seem like a creep as from the outside he is basically just a stranger Watching Ppl and never contributing anything AHHH i also need to concrete my ideas for his personality!! so i can describe him properly! he cares for people? a lot more than his calm way of carrying himself makes it out to seem bc he does look every inch the Unflappable Cool Senpai (and if ur a little less romantic then just some odd spacey adult with a stick up somewhere unpleasant........) ... but anyway he looks out for those he cares for, which is a group that's startlingly easy to get into, and is near indiscriminately kind to all the rest in his own dreamy way.......... he gets worried but latches onto rationality and painfully loyal and his reactions are relatively simplistic? as a result of his lack of exposure to most things?? he gets shocked and fascinated and inquisitive and excited but these reactions, a break from the norm to him, a crack in the surface, are honestly tiny if you're simply onlooking. they go far deeper if you're aware that he's turning his back on a lot of what he's learned, and stretching the tiny window he's been given to look on a tapestry of new understandings and concepts and am i reaching ??

he's not a Deep Character but im fond of him but he's not even that interesting but i want to write him but... he's not interesting ヾ(｡﹏｡)ﾉﾞ

• friends - waaaaaaaaaaaaa interaction threads ....... it's not strictly difficult to get things out of him but his reactions are faint, words few simply because of his personality...... but................................. him revealing............... ok i feel like his personality doesn't really work because he knows basically no one in the lodge and its odd for him to care for them probably when they don't even know e/o this is a mess...
  
  
  
• enemies - hurts me a lil but some people might be uncomfortable around him! without having an understanding of him and how he thinks? because understandably a lot of people in tnw are wary & distrustful around more Unfathomable Strangers & valemis is the creme de la creme of being.. hard to read.. just because his face is always impassive.. but dislike is scarcely requited unless he too is made uncomfortable by a direct comment

also!! have you decided on what part of the world ionia is in? :0 i'm just curious as to.. what sort of names ppl have... since i'm trying to work on my luhan char!! i just gave him the name aquila (meaning sharp [like an eagle] - which doesn't really apply to his appearance [since... he's so soft n pretty <33] but it refers more to his intellect). also since latin is the language of science... i figured it'd work lol.

and yeah!!!! if you need any minseok icons n whatnot, i have a bunch that i'm willing to share!! any specific hair colour, clothing, etc. ??

aquila omg thats lovely. lucina and aquila both have latin names, and i think it would make sense that many other names in ionia would be the same!! bc scientists. with that in mind i considered near the italian peninsula? plus on looking it up italy apparently has good biodiversity which would assist in ionias scientific exploits and everything.... but i havent decided yet!! i am..... a mess w geography ... and making decisions ...

the italian peninsula omg.... yes plS..... that would definitely help them for sure!!! also... i think taiwan also happens to be one of the most biodiverse countries in the world (if not, THE most biodiverse...i think statistics say that approx. 1/4 of earth's species can be found there). i think maybe part of taiwan would be under the tianyou's country's jurisdiction...but probably when the marriage happens...idk maybe they could give ionia access to it? that'd probably be exciting to them lol (i'll talk to seli shdjkfg it's just a thought)

AHH that would be such a good idea!! thats amazing omg. thinking about it that way, i think it would be super cool if the kingdoms gave each other kind of a dowry?? i mean they're all in on the marriage so along with the four's marriage being a representation/symbol of the peace treaty in itself, maybe to further encapsulate the end of wartime and promote mutualism between each of the kingdoms they could give one another resources and the like that would highly benefit each other..... ionia offering xizethia their technological knowledge, and from bri's kingdom to ionia maybe star maps??

i think i'll settle with around italy !! with that in mind now im trying to find lucina an actual surname ,,  personally abbascia seems rly pretty but the meaning being "abbot, priest" isn't that relevant r i p
