— they are That couple that only hangs out in the "artsy" classrooms with their true aesthetic identity of dyed hair, piercings and emo music, but that was sophomore year and now senior years new aesthetic is platinum hair bitch
— although being incredibly dark compared to their classmates, they are fairly well liked
— michael only comes to school for the vending machines and music lessons. florence only comes to school to pick arguments with racist/homophobic people she hears in the corridor
— once florence fought a boy in the hallway who was twice her height, all because he declaring he loved trump. she won easily and he had to go to the medical room, but luckily michael filmed the whole thing. after they laughed about it for ages he uploaded it onto twitter. they ended up getting 100k likes and they joke that the viral tweet is their peak (the guy who she beat up still hates them 3 months later but they love their haters really)
— they are lab partners and don't know shit. every lesson they do a practical it goes wrong. once she lit the tips of michael's hair on fire (he cried) and she cried (with laughter)
— scaring the new students by pretending to be janis and damian from mean girls. always works
— are they the emo troy and gabriella?? maybe?? probably not,,, but the dramatic singing often comes from florence as they walk through the busy corridors, the back of her hand pressed against her forehead as michael rolls his eyes. ("get me out of this shithole, i will sue you all, i want to die" is the chorus)
— michael throws the best house parties. everyone wants to come and he lets them because the more the merrier
— in freshman year they were mortal enemies who glared at each other and bitched but never actually did anything. one day their english teacher paired them together to read the balcony scene in romeo and juliet because she had had enough of their silly beef
— if people want to find florence in crowds they look for michael's head that seems to tower over everyone. 99% of the time she's there
