He blinked, slowly brushing his thumb along Ignis’s knuckles. “...You know, I...I always did take you guys for granted. But, after this whole death experience, it’s made me realize how...Kind of how badly I’ve treated everyone.” Noctis murmured. He glanced down, looking at their hands. “And, I want to say I’m sorry for how I acted before, Ignis. Throughout my whole life, you’ve been there for me. And...I barely ever tell you a thank you. I...I don’t remeber ever telling you I love you and that I’m grateful to have you in my family. I’ve just been...I’ve been a horrible friend.” He said

he shook his head. "noct, you're a prince. or.. you were a prince. i didn't expect thank you's. i expected my foot to get eaten, and for you to grow into someone who does someday know when to use the words thank you, or please, or pardon.."
