name: her full name is daisy violet buchanan. yes her parents did that on purpose. her mother really loved the book the great gastby, so she saw the opportunity and took it. violet was a name they liked as well, they were debating with that as a possible first name idea, but they just put it as her middle name. daisy is also her grandmother's favorite flower.
nicknames/petnames: though she mainly just goes by daisy, she does have a few nicknames and petnames. some common ones she has are flower and princess. flower obviously has to do with her name being daisy and people have always just tended to call her princess. she's always open to more too.

history: growing up, daisy was a moderately happy little girl, one thing that she was known for was her very smiley and outgoing nature. when she was fourteen that's when it went downhill. she was in tenth grade she met a twelfth grade boy and the two started dating. she thought she was in love with him and that he felt the same way, but he was expecting different things, and she was willing to comply with that. daisy lost her virginity to him and that even made her more attached, willing to do anything he wanted. the one thing he did best was making her feel bad about herself. he would always critique how she looked, telling her to drop a few pounds which eventually led to her developing anorexia and bulimia. when she was sixteen is when it got worse, they ended up getting into a fight and he broke up with her before she sent her nudes around the school. people called her names and did other things that led to her developing severe depression which led to the point of her attempting suicide. her parents naturally got terrified and sent her to a place to get help after that, she is either in it for threads or recently got out probably. it depends.

history: holland's parents were both married right out of highschool. her mother always had plans to go into the military. she took a year off to get their life started together, they had gotten married right away and then nine months later they had their first two and only children, holland rose and her older twin brother. her father took most part in raising them since their mother was in bootcamp and then eventually overseas. holland would see her mother very rarely when she was able to get home but always valued and loved the time she had getting to know and love her mother. when she was seven she was swimming on her uncle's farm in the lake they had, her cousin went to go get them some lemonade as she continued swimming. her foot got caught in some weeds when she was underwater and she couldn't get it free. she passed out from the lack of oxygen getting to her brain while she was underwater. she was seconds away from dying before he cousin pulled her out and gave her cpr, she's been afraid of water and drowning since. when holland was eleven they found out the heavy news that her mother died in battle. her father went downhill and he turned to alcohol and drugs.

headcanons: - she obviously doesn't approve of her father's habits, but she still loves him. ever since she was eleven she not only had to raise herself, she also had the task of making sure he father was still breathing each morning.
- tw when she was seventeen she went to a party with friends and they all got a bit drunk than they should have. a boy that she thought was her friend had ended up convincing her to go upstairs with him to 'talk'. he ended up raping holland, when she got home she just stood in the crying and scrubbing her body to the point where her skin was bright red, trying to feel the slightest bit of clean again. she still sees him to this day and freezes up when she does.
- she often has these moments where she will completely break down while she is in the shower. she'll begin shaking and sobbing about everything that has happened and just sit there hugging her legs while the water pours on her.

- one day nick invited her over to his house to watch movies so she accepted and went over. they watched three movies and only kissed once before she went home for the night. the next day in school everyone was staring at her and whispering. she later found out that nick had told his friends that the two had slept together, which wasn't true. his friends told their friends and soon the whole school heard the rumor. it wasn't long until the office and teachers heard and her parents were called down to the school.
