profession. former professional boxer
age. twenty six

brief history. wolfsbane was born to a low class family located in missouri. he was an only child, with a mother and a stepfather, as his biological dad left before he was born. he and his family lived in a trailer park, just making ends meet and struggling to support wolfsbane. his mother passed when he was five due to cancer, but due to his young age, bane barely recalls being able to separate her presence from her absence. he was left in the sole custody of his step father, a man whos alcoholism turned raging once bane's mother passed. he was out of the house for the majority of the time, leaving food in the fridge for bane and putting on a movie for him, which always ended long before he returned home. he would frequently bring home women he met, leaving bane to retreat to his room to busy himself with other activities, which usually included listening to his broken ipod or rereading the same three books. when he was home and wasn't busy with another woman, the man was abusing bane. he was drunk most of the time, but even sober, the man still beat the boy and insistently shouted profanities at him.
one day, when bane was about eight, he hit back. his step father and he were in the midst of a fight, shouting and screaming, and as the man approached him, bane threw a nearby wine bottle at his father, knocking the man out. wolfsbane then seized his opportunity and called the cops before fleeing across the park to await their arrival in safety. his father was soon arrested and bane was thrown into the foster care system. he soon began questioning if he even should have dialed those numbers that day. bane was a problematic child, and as he was shuffled around in different overcrowded homes, it showed. he began getting into fights at school, coming home with black eyes, fighting with the other foster kids, and defying his foster parents. this caused him to move from home to home at a quick speed, only resulting in him acting up just as much.
at sixteen, bane applied for emancipation and was granted it. he focused on passing his classes and working hard at his job so that he could afford a shabby apartment of his own to escape the cycle of chaos in his foster homes. he continued to get into fights, and one day, his counselor suggested taking his anger out through boxing, seeing as he desperately needed an outlet. he soon began amateur boxing at the gym down his street, and at the age of eighteen, bane was a professional boxer.
he was only twenty when the blackout struck, and everything he had built for himself crumbled. he eventually had to leave his apartment due to the high amount of danger and violence that increased after the blackout. he is now twenty six, having traveled and squatted at random shelters, living on his own. joining flintlock lodge will be his first time living with others in six years.

interactions. wolfsbane is not a social being. he prefers to know few people and only associate himself with them. he is in no means shy, but rather, rough. he only speaks to those he has already evaluated to be a tolerable person, and if you are not one of these people, it's more likely you'll exchange punches rather than small talk. he is a man better left unbothered.
  - if you do happen to become friends with bane, he is a good man. he is extremely reliable and trustworthy, one who will continuously have your back and support you through thick and thin. he's very loyal and will never betray you or in any way break your trust. he cares deeply, and would easily sacrifice himself for the good of his loved ones.
  - wolfsbane is not a hopeless romantic. he is not an emotional man or one of tender heart. he is rough and violent and unkind. he is not promiscuous, and one night stands are not his thing. rather, he seems to avoid romance and love altogether. despite this, he does have a certain want in him for a companion, but would never admit it.
  - rivals come easy to bane, though nowadays, he does his best to quiet his temper. it is still fairly easy to provoke the man, and even easier to create a rival out of him. bane is very unforgiving and one of his best skills is his ability to hold a grudge. he does not forget, and certainly doesn't forgive.
